Jr, ya might have better luck peeing in the gas tank for all that's gonna do!
I don't think I'm an angry Nascar fan, bored is a more appropriate adjective for the way I've been feeling the past couple of years. We do turn on all the races, Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck series. Of late, I've found the truck races the most exciting.
I remember when I would never miss a minute of a Nascar race. Now, I'm usually listening to an audio book with one eye on the TV and put my book on pause if there is something I want to see. I do miss the excitement of years gone by.
One thing I would like to see, though, is a road race in "the chase." I do enjoy watching when Nascar races at Infineon and Watkins Glen. I like to see who steps up to the plate with some additional skills.
"Hey Tony, any complaints about your tires this weekend?"
As a retired RN this boggles my mind. Sloppy, greedy and dangerous beyond belief.
Your correction said:
"CORRECTION: Earlier this blog said “Health officials say that practitioners were routinely using the same syringe on more than one patient, which is widely known to pass on infection.” Actually, the same syringe was not being used on multiple patients. But single dose vials of medication, which had become infected through their initial use, were being used again. Health officials say this is widely known to pass infection"
For the virus to get into a newly opened single-dose vial, a syrnge that was used on another patient had to be the culprit to introduce the virus into the new vial. Hence, the initial statement reported is also correct.
Remind me to go out of state for my colonoscopy.

Jeremy Mayfield disclosed he was taking Adderall. Adderall will general test positive for methamphetamines and this is fairly common knowledge.
The question should be whether NASCAR should have an approved drug list, like the FAA does, and then decide which prescription and OTC drugs are approved to take and which are not. This way the drivers will always know where they stand before they ingest any prescription or OTC medication.
