HAHAHAHAH Hilarious TowlBite, simply hilarious! I'm not even gonna defend Tark because the well respected man doesn't need me to defend him. His record stands for itself, debate all you want, he got paid from the NCAA and still gets respect and love from all 3 programs you mentioned. Fresno & LBS honor and welcome the man and UNLV named a court after him.....

But I'm dying over your Lute comment. "It may have been 'Zona assistants saying those things, but Lute wouldn't dare say things about those topics." Riiiiiggggghhhhhttt.. This is the same man who publicly bad mouthed Brandon Jennings for choosing to take his talent overseas to turn pro, helping himself and family in which he has a right to! A kid who choose not to lace up with Arizona for year so they could milk his worth to help Lute get wins and bring revenue to the program that he wouldn't see a penny of. (and don't give me the free tuition bit because we all know he didn't plan on getting a degree, he was to major in basketball with a minor in NCAA tournament wins)

Its sad that to this day UNLV sometimes gets the same perception ...your kid will succumb to the evils of the strip, gambling, prostitution, night life, the mob etc.... PUUULLLLLLEEEASE give me a break!

I've always herd that Tark competed with Lute Olson and U of A for kids and good ol Lute using dirty tricks to lure kids away from UNLV. Now its interesting hearing from the shark first hand accounts. This kind of stuff adds fuel to the fire of a long over due rivalry between UNLV and Arizona. Let's hope that the contracted series is renewed for years to come. Can't wait till them Cats come this year, especially with ol Lute back on the bench...

Yep, thought Andy's analysis along with the placement was fair. I have to admit I was pretty shocked when I say the mention. Sure we here in Vegas know the potential of this team but I'm still not expecting the rest of the country to know yet. I truly think we shouldn't crack it until we see how we look after playing USD, Cal, UTEP, Cincy/FSU and UNR (that would give us early to mid December). And depending on how we play UofA and Louisville should determine whether we stay in there. I don't want to over-rate, over-hype and over-exaggerate this team. It's good to fly under the radar :)

Hey Rob not sure if you caught it yesterday but Andy Katz over at ESPN.com has the Rebs ranked 24th in his pre-season top 25. Not much chatter on the boards yet though, besides some BYU guy complaining about the home court advantage in the MWC tourney"like usual

its just a numbers game in the NBA. number of guys ahead of you and the number of number$ the available to pay players... Kevin is good but in the NBA everyone is good. On the Bucks roster just look at the guys kevin is competing with for a spot. Ramone Sessions, Tyron Lue, Luke Ridinour. Kevin can compete with those guys, but those guys deff are no slouches. Pluse Luke is comparable to Kevin with his scrappy style(though Kev has a better shot) and is taller. Plus they all been in the league longer than him and were on rosters last season while Kev was in the D League.

After this season if he dosent land on a NBA roster making at least $100K I'd say head over sea's young man. A club over there will easily pay him well over $100K.
