Please tell me that the Polee Jr. recruit was at this game like they said he would be. Adding another top 100 recruit to this team would make us a top team for years to come.

GREAT WIN tonight. Jasper played amazing, as did Santee. Overall great hustle and leadership the whole game.

The NBA range 3 wallace hit was amazing. I love it! GO REBS

I predict UNLV will win if the following happen:

1. Tre'von continues to play amazing.
2. Either Stanback or Jasper (Hopefully both) has a breakout game
3. We get some good production and defense out of the 3 headed monster
4. Start Strong, gonna be harder to come back against this Louisville team

Louisville is favored by 3.5 (O/U 144) right now, If I still lived in Vegas, my parlay would be UNLV money line, over 144, and UNLV with the points.

Go Rebs!

Sound like a great game, wish I wasnt working during it. Looking at the Box score, and listening to the postgame show it seems like we dominated in many area's (steals, pts off turnovers, pts in paint), but first game losing the rebounding battle. I hope Kruger lights these guys up in practice for it early. What was the name of that drill he started last year, where 2 guys line up and he tosses a ball, and they just flat out dive and fight for it? Its not too early to bring it back coach.

I got my fingers crossed for that Polee kid. He has some sick highlights on Youtube. Tall and athletic, he can finish strong at the rim. We need some tall guys like that to help with our guard heavy lineup.

Another thing I was thinking is that the depth will help this team out during tournaments. That could be big for us in the Diamondhead, conference tourney, and hopefully Big Dance. The three headed monster and the 7 deep guard roster is hard to beat 3 days in a row.

A nice showing at the Diamondhead tourney in Hawaii could be very good for us recruiting wise. National coverage right before conference play, and we will have had some good games decided by then, we will know a lot more about this team.

Hopefully we stay focused and beat the hell out of Holy Cross. Please dont be like last years team and hardly ever put 2 decent halves together. Lets stomp them out of the gym from the start. Im still waiting for Stanback and Jasper to have that breakout game like Willis had last one. This could be a very hard team to scout come January, so many players that can come out and drop 20+ pts and a some dimes, boards, and picks too. I love it. Go Rebs!

He said that in response to one of my posts. I asked that he go make his own damn money and donate millions to the University. Then he can tell people how to spend it. I guess he loves being unemployed and disgruntled with his previous coworkers and job.

Short handed Rob? Hire me, I will travel with the team and shoot/edit videos all day long. I love the Sun's coverage, but that would be a dream job of mine.

Sufferin you dont even listen. Im not talking about your grand scheme to build a football stadium. I just want to know why you think someone is stupid for donating money to the school with their own prerogative on how to utilize that money. And Im sure you have been around the Athletic Department long enough, thats why they let you go right? So being an outsider from the inner workings of current UNLV finances and donors, I dont take your low ball estimate of 2 million to be anywhere near accurate. Why dont you wait till you hear all the facts before you start all your conjecture and falsehoods. Be happy for once, this life is short in the grand scheme. Enjoy the ride. I have a way better time at games cheering the whole time. The heart wrenching endings last year (both wins and losses) make the game exciting and fun, which is the reason I like college sports.

And Mormonwithabrain,
too bad its not mormonwithaclue.......Read the article about 2 weeks ago by Emily Richardson.
She writes, "And this week Smatresk announced a $12.6 million gift from the Engelstad Family Foundation to establish what will be the largest endowed scholarship program in the history of Nevada higher education. Students, who will be known as Engelstad Scholars, will participate in community service with local organizations, including Agassi College Preparatory Academy, Three Square Regional Food Bank and local Boys & Girls Clubs."

And the rest of the story is about how UNLV reached its highly ambitious fundraising drive of 500 million dollars, which was only started a few years ago.

Here is the link, maybe you can use that big brain of yours to do your own research next time.
