LouLalli is right - if Missouri is available, you do what it takes to get all three. That adds two big metros: Kansas City and St Louis, and those three schools are the one primarily followed in those markets. Adding Baylor would probably benefit the conference other sports as now there would be a "travel partner" for TCU.
Hepi,
you did a great job covering the event. With Rugby 7s coming into the Olympics soon, I am sure the event will grow. I went on the second day and sat with the Samoan fans. I'd say I saw at least 20 MWC football players from UNLV, the Utah schools, and SDSU there - all having a great time. I was very impressed with the Kenyan contingent, they must have had at least 5,000 fans there. The fan interaction was fantastic at this event, amazing to see 16 countries fighting it out in a sporting event and the fans being completely civil with each other. Rugby is the rare sport where that happens!
The fireworks show was not done at the Convention Center, back then it was a glitzy Light show (numerous spotlights worked by skilled stage hands). That was brought over to the T&M and Fireworks got added to it, and after awhile - the spotlights gave way.
Ask coach about some friends and enemies in the coaching game.
I know he was close to Lefty Driessel, and I know Dr Tom Davis was always a big fan of coach Tark.
And I know coach has some views on major douchebags he hated, like Marv Harshmann and Jim "tell the NCAA they gave you money, Jackie" Harrick.
I've been reading this site since football season and not posting, but also wanted to echo the same sentiment: the Sun coverage is the best by miles.
Rob's writing has always been great - my favorite article was the one about Wink's mom some time ago (when she took his LOI to Church). Now it seems Rob has some quality help and the whole group does a fantastic job.
Thanks from all us diehard Rebel fans!

Can't wait for Tark's opinion on the Cam Newton situation. How Newton cannot be ineligible despite his father asking for money - in clear contradiction to several NCAA rules is beyond amazing.
