Wow what a beat down that was last night. Never have I seen the Wranglers play so poorly and I've been a season ticket holder since day 1. sec111 is right the defense has been horrible. Utah was walking in on Gistedt all night and it was a shooting gallery.
On the bright side I though Orpik played a strong game. That is about all I have to say about that.
Let's hope things turn around on the road.
Typical Ron Stinkowski article taking a shot at the Wranglers. I don't ever remember reading an article of his that was positive towards the Wranglers. Thank goodness we have Steve Silver's stuff to read and comment on.
Ahhh Hockey is finally back!!! Very poor defensive coverage espacially in the slot area. However, you can see that there is some talent out there. Hopefully they will gel and stay healthy and have a great season.
Tough week ahead ahead with the Aces coming in. They have lots of players returning. 16 is what I was told.
Nice to see you doing the intermission interviews Steve. When are we going to see you do Sportcenter exclusives for ESPN?
Congrats to Gully! Lord knows he deserves this opportunity. Good luck coach and to steal a line from the late great Bob Hope... thanks for the memories :-)
Congrats to the Aces and thier fans. I wish them the best of luck in the finals. They were clearly the better team. If Alaska wins the cup then the streak will continue. We have lost to the eventual Kelly Cup champ every year we have made the playoffs.
Steve - I enjoyed reading your articles. There were some pretty heated discussions in here. It is nice to see the passion from the fans. Keep up the good work.
Withorpe - I bet you never mispell "stellar" again! By the way you owe me a dollar! I believe you picked Anahiem over Detroit :-)

You should change your name to the "voice of reason". It was a great game last night. As always the officiating was suspect but I've come to accept. If the officials were good they wouldn't be in the ECHL.
Alaska is a great team no doubt about it. They do a great job of getting sticks in passing lanes, blocking shots, and if pucks do get through JP is there to clean up. Very solid.
Last nights game was playoff hockey at its best. Two teams working hard. Two goalies on top of their game. Hope tomorrow provides more of the same.
There are a few things more important than hockey. Paying respect to the flag during this great country's anthem is one of them. I don't care if they were disrespecting the Wranglers or not. The flag represents our country, its freedoms, its beliefs, and its values that our forefathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, have paid for and are still paying for with thier lives. These freedoms allow us to enjoy the great game of hockey. These freedoms allow us to come on boards such as these and share opinions. There is no excuse for anyone to turn their back on the flag before ANY event regardless of why they are doing it. At least Martin realized the wrong and attempted to make amends for it.
I had a good excuse I was out of town for a graduation. After seeing the scores I think I'm glad I missed these last two games!!
Steve - Are you going to be able to travel to the games in Alaska?
Section - I agree that we don't need any "goon-fests". Perhaps with the Ferraro's gone Stefanision will play hockey instead of chasing them around trying to hit them whether it be with a clean hit or a dirty hit.
Winthorpe - Will this be an epic or "stellar" series?

They should just get rid of football altogether. They suck and will never be any good. Face it this a basketball school.
