MY EXPERIENCE OF NEW YEARS EVE IN LAS VEGAS WAS VERY FREIGHTENING. AS WE EXITED THE IMPERIAL PALACE CASINO'S EXIT DRIVE WE WERE PUSHED TOWARD THE STREET BY DRUNKEN IDIOTS AND WERE BEING CRUSHED TO THE POINT THAT WE COULD NOT BREATH AND PANIC BEGAN TO TAKE PLACE WITHIN THE CROWD. THIS BEHAVIOR IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THERE WAS A HANDICAPPED MAN IN A WHEEL CHAIR AND PEOPLE WITH SMALL CHILDREN AND BABIES. I KNOW THESE IDIOTS ARE A SMALL GROUP WITHIN THE CELEBRATION BUT THEIR ACTIONS WERE VERY DANGEROUS. AFTER WE LITERALY FOUGHT OUR WAY BACKWARDS WE SAW LVPD OFFICERS AND SECURITY FOR IMPERIAL PALACE JUST STANDING AND WATCHING. WHEN CONFRONTED ON THE SITUATION - THEY SAID IT'S ALWAYS LIKE THIS. IF THIS IS SO, MYSELF AND MY FAMILY WILL NEVER RETURN TO LAS VEGAS. WE HAVE BEEN THERE 8 TIMES IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS AND THIS WAS OUR LAST TIME. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS NOT FUN AND WE FELT OUR LIVES WERE IN JEOPARDY.
