I have to agree with cignettis -- the credentials (or lack of them) for such a committee on nuclear projects is laughable.
Again, another issue crucial to Nevada is left to politics. But why should I be surprised?
Just to clarify Blueberry's statement...
ANY registered voter can vote for ANY candidate -- from ANY party -- in the general election. It's not only available to persons registered as independents.
Just thought I'd clarify this, since there seems to be a surprising amount of confusion regarding this issue.
This would be funny if it weren't so pathetically sad.
The thought of Limbaugh leering at girls in swimsuits makes me nauseous.

In 2003, the Nevada Teachers Union successfully pushed for a last-minute bill that explicitly prohibited using test data in teacher evaluations.
Now those same teachers are complaining that they are being shut out of the federal grant program for the country's schools.
Teachers: You brought this on yourselves.
Lesson learned: Teachers, be careful what you wish for. (And be careful what you push the Nevada Legislature to vote for.)
