Sounds like the aol travel people didnt do much traveling in Vegas...
MGM used their database to increase the gamblers form 15 percent to 30 percent....Really..This town will comeback when the party people are broke and people realize paying 185 a night is stupid...if that is what Wynn and the Bellagio are actually getting...Then the people that actually built this town, the gambler, will get a break..
Phil wont be around long.. the game has passed him by..
The party crowd will be broke soon...Maybe the gamblers that made the town will get a break..
Harrahs can make a profit there...They got a huge number of total reward cardholders..Even the local casinos cant make it ..you know the ones with the good gamble and the cheap food...
This begs the question.. What is it going to take to make it in Vegas?
Free Drinks...Not in Indiana..I usually get a cash coupon that I use to buy drinks...I love the comped drink when in Vegas or AC the cocktail waitress gets a nice tip each time and everybody is happy..I gamble less in Indiana and more elsewhere for that reason..They charge 3.25 for a beer and 5.00 for my wifes wine..ridiculous..
At the very least his company is not charging a resort fee...He might have to cut a little but I think he will be ok
You would figure from their extensive customer feedback a resort fee would be the last thing a guest would want. Thirty years of traveling to las vegas a resort fee was never on my mind..A good gamble..Decent food and entertainment..a room deal..yea thats whats on my mind..These billionaires forget who made them
The centrifuge concept works...I would think a open ocean project would be to large and unruly..but maybe they got a chance..Hope so

With 1.3 Billion in available cash...Harrahs could
easily cover daily liabilities...Write downs against any intangible assets would be a slow process.Harrahs problem would be the long view...They overeached..2.6 billion...almost 10 billion a year in the casino business you should
be profitable..Simply my opinion
