I wonder if the LV Sun will report on Harry Reid's latest bogus claim about being responsible for Las Vegas' racial integration...
Why is there not a news story about this -- or the closing of the Henderson Home News and the accompanying layoffs -- in the Sun or online? Sounds like the LVRJ isn't the only paper practicing shoddy journalism!
Gosh I feel really stupid right now! I like to think I am up on current events but I can't for the life of me remember what President Obama accomplished in his first two weeks in office to earn Nobel Peace Prize consideration, let alone win the award.
Cripes! Is EVERYBODY in bed (figuratively not literally) with everyone else in this industry? Now the LVSun has serious problems with the writer of this story being connected to a former Channel 13 employee.
I guess this shouldn't come as a shock but...
I don't know what's more of a joke: That Alan Stock thinks his opinion carries any weight with anyone, or that the Sun would write a story about what Alan Stock says.
UNLV has a football team?
Somebody ought to tell the Gun Lake Tribe of Pottawatomi Indians that Station Casinos recently declared bankruptcy. Is that REALLY who you want managing your casino?
I'm surprised that the writer didn't mention that. Oh, that's right, the Greenspuns are partners with Station Casinos in several ventures. I'm surprised the writer didn't mention THAT (not really).
Wait a second ... it wasn't that long ago that Hillary Clinton and all you Bush-bashing liberals were saying that dissent is patriotic. Now that one of yours is in the White House, I guess that doesn't apply.
The fact that Birdie agrees with this editorial tells you all you need to know.

The author of this story and other Obama apologists just don't get it. Nobody is upset with Obama for suggesting that people struggling to save money for college should not blow it on gambling; they're upset because he -- again -- casts Las Vegas in a negative light in a national speech.
His message would have been just a strong had he left "Las Vegas" out of his remarks.
