All media, when they continue to discuss "should we or should we not discuss this", are discussing the situation by default. So, they can pretend virtue by saying they are just keeping the discussion at that level, that they are not really discussing the personal.....but that's pretty bogus.
Think there are two bigger issues though. First, McCain. They say that he knew about this at the time he picked her. So, does that mean he knew this stuff would come out and that it would kick Obama off the front page for more than a day? So, is he just "using" her? I guess VP picks get used in one way or another. But, I heard it said the other day that she really would have nothing to do with running the country if he was elected. That it would be his "cronies" like Joe Lieberman who would be. Probably true.....but still sad that he would stoop to using her that way. And what does that really tell us about him? Have to admit to being disappointed in him in that aspect.
Second, Sarah Palin the mother. I don't care if she was running for dog catcher. If she's ever read a paper or seen a TV news show in the last 10 years, she has to know that we, as a nation, now pick apart every human being we can. She absolutely had to know what she was going to be putting her daughter through. Talk about blind ambition.
News1950....thanks for my laugh for the day! The sad fact, though, is that neither one of them is really qualified. No senator is really qualified to run a country. Governor's or CEO's generally would be better qualified to run a country.......although I have to admit George W is trying the refute that fact the best he can!
And lets put it where people will use it. The monorail is a joke because it was done only to make gaming happy and as usual, based only on tourist issues. But, if they would actually put a light rail out to areas where the workers are who need to use it to go to work, or shop......they might actually get some people out of their cars and using it, and make enough ticket money to at least attempt to pay for part of it.
I must have missed something.........where in this article does it say Democrats want to raise taxes?? Seems to me he is saying that people with the money and the clout ought to be putting their money and their clout where their mouths are. That does not equate to Dems raising taxes.
