Maybe its really the other side of the coin. Maybe our private sector employees get paid too little. Years ago the scenario being touted about Las Vegas was that work was so plentiful and good, even a maid could buy a house. When I moved here 8 years ago......I found out that unless you wanted to work for a casino.....it was hard to find a job that paid a wage that would allow you to pay the high rent/mortgage and still have a life. Maybe we should be looking at what private sector workers (both union & non-union and executive & "clerical") are making compared to the cost of living here.
Now that the special session has been delayed and shortened......maybe the 10th question should be: Is the governor dumb like a fox?
Of course he is using this as a ploy to keep eyes off his ridiculousness. But should that stop the legislators from leading? I think they should stop their whining. Most of them have been "legislating" longer than he has been "governing"........so this is as much their problem, if not more, than it is his and they ought to be willing to go to work and fix it. And we elected these people, so maybe we are getting what we deserve. No wonder term limits is such a popular idea!
Maybe term limits can't come too soon. The lack of leadership, not only from the governor, but especially from the legislators who have been around longer than he has, is really, really sad. This is why the public goes for term limits......we can't seem to get the losers voted out of office. I read Buckley is considering running for governor, geeeez, more lack of leadership on the horizon.

If by "Wide Open Coverage" you mean having that screen in the corner spewing out constant commercials.....I thought it was terrible. Seemed like the commercials were double the usual number of commercials, twice as long and very distracting. I started changing channels and looking for other things to watch and just coming back to the race once in a while to see if the lead had changed.
I agree with tbird64, I'm guessing that a lot of fans felt like I did and just signed on one time to voice their opinion about this one thing. I may even do the same thing myself after finishing here.
