A visual testimony to a story read, but rarely related to by those of us who have not experienced the emotions or physical hardship of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It takes courage and patience. An insightful portrait of struggle.
What happens next? Why is the conversion of their home taking so long to accomplish? Assistance within the system? The future beyond one year? Why can a wealthy media sports icon who caused this outcome not feel responsible beyond what the legal system has declared necessary? Beyond identifying the shooter he could easily set up a foundation to assist the victims (Kathy & Tom)in reclaiming their life and future as a humane gesture.
