The two leading websites for online OSHA training are www.osha10hourtraining.com and www.osha30hourtraining.com . They are both approved by OSHA, so you get your OSHA wallet card. The trainee has to be at the computer to ask questions as they come up, so you know for sure the trainee is there for ALL of the material. This helps prevent the fraud that took place in NYC. In fact, hundreds of people in NY have gotten their 10 hour and 30 hour OSHA cards through these websites. OSHA construction courses and general industry courses are available. Trainees get several months to complete their training if they need to strecth it out and train just during downtime . . ., or they can start right away and train as long as they feel like. Great sites, with good customer service, we recommend them for all our clients.

The online version of the OSHA 10 hour course at www.osha10hourtraining.com is OSHA approved. Because the trainee must answer questions as they pop up, they have to be there for the entire presentation, so it alleviates issues like the unscrupulous trainer in this story. Plus, there is a spanish version avaiable, so you don't have the other common problem with trainers from shoddy operations; an english speaking trainer and hispanic student. Maybe online is the way to go! Also, OSHA Pros Inc. does teach live classes, but their trainers are all certified safety professionals (CSP's), perhaps that should be a prerequisite to be an OSHA trainer, because right now you just have to take OSHA trainer course to be a trainer
