Strong evidence was brought before the board in 2005 they failed to suspend his license then .Resulting in the deaths of over 4 people that I know about . One of these deaths was my 21 year old niece. She started seeing him 18 months before she died. If the medical board would have taken away his license then she would be alive .I can't speak for others but how did the Medical Board help the people of Nevada? Only suspending his ability to write prescriptions for narcotics. This man SOLD his practice the day after his suspension of writing narcotic scripts. How could he possibly leave all his patients behind he could still treat people but decided not to help the sick.Instead he still holds a medical license why not go the whole nine yards? I called the Medical Board 2 days ago and left a message concerning the meeting this weekend, but they failed to return my call. I guess they are to busy giving favors to doctors who destroy families like mine .My niece is just as important as this mans license so we need to work together in his punishment .
I can't believe it takes 2 years for the medical board to investigate ? Prompt action should be taken sooner . As the case with Buckwalter , over 10 people have died since his file has been sitting on there desk.Only summarily suspended it, technically this doctor can still be out seeing patients can you imagine going to a doctor who lost over 10 patients in a couple years. Thats a terrible record for a primary care physcian. The medical board better not show any favoritism with this doctor, because this case involved my niece who passed (she was only 21 years old).I will do anything it takes to see justice prevail.
and your point is.....
People who smoke smell nasty , can't you stop smoking for a night on the town. Let the workers breathe your polluting yourself with toxic chemicals along with the patrons let alone the workers who are trying to make a living swallow your smoke & see what it feels like . Cough ... Cough...

You are correct when you say addiction to pain meds are an easy thing. Also respecting the power is the key. Just like the article said for an addict there is nothing easy your brain wants more your pain becomes worse when it is actually a false pain. That is where it must stop. These doctors need a plan when you start to see them no one expects to be on narcotics the rest of their lives. The problem is certain people become addicted , the doctor making it happen .Come back every month for a refill I don't think so. Regulatory agencies received hundreds of complaints starting in 2005 about this doctor they did nothing and he kept prescribing. One expert in a prior story said that he believes the doctor didn't know what he was doing . He said he was not a very good doctor. Given that the Medical Board should have never renewed his license unless he went back to school you see he failed. All of the agencies failed , maybe my niece would still be alive , but like Mr. Reynolds they were ashamed of their addiction . Read Marshall Allen's other stories this addiction is just as bad as the economy .
"I think he's just not a good doctor," Kloth said. "He's poorly trained and operating way beyond his level of expertise." I do agree with this statement although if this were a school and a teacher was not doing his job correctly , the principal ( Medical board -DEA- Pharmacy board ) are all to blame . He was reported way to many times for them to NOT take notice .Just how many people had to die it keeps growing
@pharmacy board @ medical board ...How can you say you are not responsible for this doctor ? Many pharmacists have complained to you about Buckwalters script writings. Why didn't you take action in 2006? You could have saved many lives its all on you .
But what do you care you are getting paid every week , while our family suffers with grief everyday. You should have got off your butt and done something positive & removed him from his job.It took until Nov 2008 to stop him from writing controlled substance scripts.Explain that to all the families

Its not over because the Medical Board has yet to investigate all of the complaints against this doctor. Unbelivable that he has been attending medical education classes while he his under suspension . He has 40% of his schooling in pain management ? What a joke. Can you imagine such a person treating people in a pain management clinic, he could not keep proper records before what gives him the right now? Please medical board do the right thing and answer evey letter from every family who has lost a loved one.
