These people all deserve each other but the students deserve better. What a bunch of pretentious pseudointellectual nitwits. All of 'em.
Hey Jimbo! What happenend to the hiring freeze?
John, C'mon dude. It's time to go.
He was the real deal and a great guy at the Legislature. Sorry to see him go.
After months of fielding embarrasing questions regarding his boss, Josh can relax, kick back on the beach at Glenbrook and ponder his career options while hanging out at Daddy's posh Lake Tahoe cabin. Ah, to be brought up with a silver spoon in your mouth....... Here's a thought Josh... Try being a regular guy like a NHP Trooper or NDOT worker or a prison guard and get your hands dirty. And see what it's like being one of those state workers you chumps tried your darndest to screw over this past year. Naw, better not wait. Daddy's got a spot for you at his law firm.
Don't bother thanking Governor Jim for the 4% cut. He wanted an 11% cut! You can thank the Nevada Legislature for coming up with a common sense approach to cutting the budget without impacting state employees as much as Jimmy Boy wanted to. Thank you Barbara Buckley, Steven Horsford, et al! A day off per month without pay is one more day per month I can go hiking and enjoy Nevada's beautiful outdoors. Now let's get on with life!
Make cuts across the board to fix 50% of the problem. Avoid layoffs by maintaining a REAL hiring freeze and don't fill positions soon to be vacated by retirees. Raise taxes on the mining industry and create a small service tax rate to fix the other 50%. Leave fuel, property, & sales taxes the way they are.
Hey jfnance32,
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Let's see you try out for firefighter or policeman and join the ranks. I'll bet you couldn't get your fat ass around the track quick enough to pass the physical fitness test.....
Gee, maybe if the troopers could manage to do their job without getting fired for sexual harrassment, driving dui, crashing into people going code 3, violating pursuit policy etc. etc. there might be more of them on the road!

What a load of huey. Stoke up the fireplace honey. I'll be in the garage workin' on the hemi. Tomorrow is open burn day. I'll be one happy camper. Al Gore can kiss my 91 octane gas can.
