Purgatory,

Judging by your response to the topic letter, you must be a DEMOCRAT - devoid of any sense-of-humor.
But, thanks for the condescending advice on exploring more substantive issues. LOL...

But, it isn't Karl Rove that reported the story. Instead, it is the East Coast bastion-of-liberalism, the New York Times, finally resembling a legitimate newspaper, instead of a talking-points tabloid for Barack Obama and the Democrats.
I can understand why liberals would be absolutely apoplectic over the Times expose. In the words of immortal TV-icon Chester A. Reilly ("The Life of Reilly") - "What a revoltin' development this is!"

"Stranglehold?" Maybe, to myopic liberals the resounding GOP victory in NV-CD2 is considered as such, but to realists the victory can be viewed as "a loving touch" and much needed to save our state. Congratulations, Congressman-elect Mark Amodei. Incidentally, Representative Shelley Berkley, can you hear us now?

23bigdon1 - I can't argue with your post about Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. The both of them as advisers to "W" participated in the disastrous downturn in the economy. Maybe, you could historically compare them to Richard Nixon's (sarcastically) stellar advisers, H.R. Haldeman and John Erlichman (i.e., Hans and Fritz). But, Barack Obama, unfortunately, is too incompetent to solve the nation's economic problems and has only been able to play the "blame game" to exhaustion.
Incidentally, have you noticed Karl Rove has taken every opportunity to BASH conservative women (e.g., Christine O'Donnell, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, etc.)? I'm not disputing the fact he may have some points in that regard, but he is supposed to be a Republican, and loyalty is an essential character trait in any person. Karl Rove is a disgrace to the GOP and America. Now, if I see him on any program, I change the channel or turn off the TV.

"...but we need to move on" - from BARACK OBAMA. Whenever he opens his mouth, the community organizer from Chicago, reminds me of the straw man from "The Wizard of Oz" - "If I only had a BRAIN."

Sign seen on a highway billboard..."If you voted for Barack Obama in 2008 to prove you weren't a racist, please vote for anyone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot!"

VernosB - I understand you're a left-wing, ideological zombie, but please, get your facts straight! Jimmy Carter was NOT a nuclear physicist. I lived during the horrible four years of his presidency (1977-1981) and a major scandal erupted when facts revealed that though a graduate of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis (MD) and a one-time officer on a nuclear submarine, the peanut-farmer from Plains (GA) was NOT a nuclear physicist.
Next, liberals will be claiming that Barack Obama is a MENSA member.

Elaine A. Halley - Your letter is the most inane and insipid letter I have read in my entire lifetime! You're an excellent case example for imposition of IQ tests for American voters.
I suppose you felt Jimmy Carter had been a "qualified" leader, too.
Kindly do our nation a favor - stay home on election day next year, or at least out of the Arizona sun.

"Of all the things I lost, I miss my country (US) the most!" Thanks, Barack Obama!

Hmm...I notice the liberals with their lack of humor and senseless drivel have infested this page, again!
Incidentally, Obama Derangement Syndrome is a more legitimate and less dangerous "affliction" than the Bush Derangement Syndrome that has plagued liberals and drove them (mentally) around the bend for more than eight years!
