Who enters an HOA voluntarily? Nobody! We just want to buy a house...it comes with the darn HOA. The disclosure of what we are getting into is hidden in hundreds of pages of garbage.
As far as HOAs keeping up the value...that is a lie. A study published by Harvard University said that HOAs do NOT add value to our homes!!!
They are a scam that benefit the developer and the municipality. They are pathological because they then attract losers into feeling as if they have some power and will do anything to perpetrate the things.
