I find it hard to believe that any sane person in such a position of this kind of responsibility would say that he wasn't interested in abiding by the law. This comment must be incased in a larger discussion and singled out. I would be interested in knowing the entire discussion instead of a self serving sound bite.
I think this whole affair is about ego, money and control of UMC--both parties--although I believe Mr. Thomas would gladly have moved on by now if permitted. As sure as the sun comes up tomorrow, you can count on the eventual victim being the taxpayers of Clark County.
