Hey, 007_Fan...maybe I'm the dumb one. I thought your comments were directed at my post until someone in the newsroom pointed out that you were referring to the comment before yours. My mistake.

Good points from BringtheRain, but I think 007_fan needs to go back and read my post again.

Dale Jr's dad used to say of that unclosed fist: "I'm just telling him he's No.1"

Waltrip's car had an in-car camera and you could hear the engine race as he drove into the back of Casey.

You're right, money talks and losers walk. You know the situation has become a bit extreme when team owners like Childress feel they must have four teams just to remain competitive. I'd love to see a single-car team show the multi-car teams a thing or two. But I doubt that will happen.

You are right, Canfan,if someone stops watching NASCAR, then they were never a real fan to begin with. Regardless of all the things we may not like about the sport, I think true fans will continue to watch because they love stock car racing. Besides, the racing alternatives aren't as exciting and the drivers are a lot more boring.

Well, I did draw a Stewart cartoon for the publication NASCAR Scene which will be in next week's issue. I'll post it here once the cartoon appears in print.

Thanks for bringing that up. I wanted to include Chad's comments in the original post, but I'm trying to keep these things as short as possible.
