If you want to see just how much "clout" Harry Reid has demonstrated the past 12 years, check out the federal aid to states at http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/fas.h....
Nevada has been 49th, 50th or 51st every year! So much for Reid's power and seniority. It would appear he squandered his influence in the Senate doing his master's bidding rather than focusing on helping the good people of Nevada.
Good grief Mr. Sands, how can you even make your argument with a straight face. You're either a comedian or an ignoramus.
Come on Libs. You need to decide what will really happen if Angle is elected. In one breath you say that she and her extreme views are going to tip the world on its end, and then in your next breath you say she will have absolutely no clout and be totally ineffectual. Which is it? Satan's spawn or the epitome of impotence?
Unless you have a crystal ball, you really don't know do you? The very thought that she might actually represent the will of her constituency instead of President Obama's and Nancy Pelosi's agenda is enough to take a chance on her. Five votes in my house for Angle!
I hope they find her alive and well.
BTW, Fowl play is for birds.
Foul play is nefarious.

I've read many of your past posts.
Thank goodness your brain damage was not "extensive"?

My oldest son is currently enrolled in UNLV because he received the millennial scholarship. My second son chose an out of state university last year because the tuition was cheaper. My daughter who will graduate from HS this year is not even looking in-state because of high prices. Now my oldest son has been shopping out of state too and this increase, combined with our current financial situation, makes going out of state next year a better deal even with the millennial scholarship.
Raising tuition in the face of declining enrollment goes against all reason and logic. If Smatresk thinks they're spread thin now, wait till this next hike in tuition forces more families like mine to abandon Nevada schools.
Being the "dominant producer" of degrees doesn't mean diddly and smacks of academic elitism, an attitude which is not very smart in this current market and may eventually lead to getting the c**p kicked out of your PHDs.
I say, good riddance to educators and a system that makes these kind of decisions.
