I found this article to be very interesting. I am 37 and taking my first online college course and have to admit it feels a bit strange to me. I often wondered how easy it would be for someone younger who may find it more "natural."
It is wonderful that technology allowed this student to complete his education despite his setbacks, however I still am somewhat concerned with the social impact of not interacting with other students. I think that group learning is an important part of the classroom. How is this handled?
