StanG and brtaylor:

Conservative Republicans have neither understanding of differences nor memories of what has transpired. All they can do is complain and say "NO!"

Therefore, trying to reason with them is futile.

"Most appeared to be against out of control spending."

Where were these folks when Bush & Cheney spent billions per month (and actually lost some $8,000,000,000) in Iraq?

The teabaggers are not against "out of control spending" as much as they are against any sane economic actions and policies by a sane president.

The screamers really sound like two year olds who missed their afternoon naps.

And, oh how they scream. Trouble is they (like their republican brethren) just don't have anything productive to say.

If and when Palin is no longer a public figure - spouting inanities - the Plain-bashing can cease. Until then, she made herself fair game to any and all criticism.

As for her inanities, Palin may have, but doesn't use, the brains that God gave geese.

"Make fun of Senator Ensign as you will for his moments of indiscretion."

Moments? Moments? The guy does his best friend's wife for almost a year - and you call it MOMENTS OF INDISCRETION? He cost the republicans eight seats in the U S Senate by hiring his mistress's 19 year old son as a Political Consultant - and you call it MOMENTS OF INDISCRETION?

I'm glad you're "well heck I am proud as pudding" but let's be realistic about John Ensign's appearance. I'll bet not a single kid in attendance even knows who - the self-admitted philanderer - John Ensign is or does. Durango High School must have been desperate for a celebrity.

And, yes kids, wash your hands.

No shotgundsally, you're not alone. I understand there are still a few sane republicans alive and thinking.

The rest of the republicans - maybe even some of the people commenting on here - think anyone left of Dick Cheney is unpatriotic. They've completely forgotten the First Amendment applies to non-republicans, as well.

Wow, the commenters on here must have thought this cartoon was about John Ensign and the "C" Street republicans.

Tea-baggers, Birthers, and Health Care obstructionists, oh wait, that would be the - kicking and screaming like 2-year-olds without their afternoon naps - republicans, have done more to destroy America than any other group of people in the nation's history.

Obama will correct the eight years of mess left over from the last administration, but it'll take more than seven months to clean out the crap.

Finally, the Democrats will pass Health Care reform without the "party of no" republicans. More republican naysayers will get swept out of office in the 2010 elections.

Well I'm shocked, just shocked that there were only 900 people at Stoney's Rockin' Country bar on Friday night.

I would think that a state like Nevada that can elect the inane Love Gov, Jim Gibbons and the "C" Street, Family first (and f**k the voters) Senator John Ensign, would have more than 900 people who rode to school in the short bus.

"Teabaggers," "Birthers" and the (kicking and screaming like they missed their afternoon nap) "two-year-olds against Health Care Reform," are a symptom of everything that is wrong with America. These folks are, nothing more nor nothing less than, hateful bigots.

Good for Gibbons . . . now when it gets screwed up (and it will be screwed up within weeks with the Love Gov. Jim Gibbons overseeing it) and the law suits begin to mount, he'll have no one to blame but himself.

And, I wonder, how much money of the $120,000 or $56,000 salaries will find its way back to the Gibbons re-election campaign coffers?
