I think Massamba and Santee would be better at rebounding if Kruger petitioned the MWC to put a handle on the basketball. Maybe even some glue on their hands would help. We're in trouble at the post position. Are we all in agreement on that point?
Second response to this posting. It's always been about oil. It has to be about oil. Most liberals ignorantly think that if we just all drive Prius' we can stop buying il from the middle east. Everything in our society is carbon based (read oil) Crayons, Plastics, medicines. We MUST continue to rely on middle east oil even if we all do start driving Prius'. All the plastic (look around you and see what is made of plastic) cannot be generated from solar or wind energy and it doesn't come from the Plastic Tree either. Morons
The premise of the president being trapped is bogus Mr. Weiss. Are you saying that Obama didn't know we were involved in a conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan. Did his aide pass him a note on inauguration day saying .."oh by the way Mr President, we have troops Iraq and Afghanistan and we got you...you're trapped"?
lcdrmandingonamve........ Whaaaaaaaat?, conservatives are felons? Holy crap are you myopic about the Democrats or what? The feds would need to build a whole new prison to house the democratic criminals on the left and far left.
Casinokid.....get over it! what explorer didn't wield a heavy hand. You do know that most blacks in Africa were sold into slavery by......... wait for it........ BLACKS
A excellent Observation .... Patrick_R_Gibbons
Guys, Guys, Guys...You're trying to explain real world economics to a bunch of people here who think Obama has his own personal "Stash" of money and that if we need more then we'll just wait for the next rocketship arriving from the planet Xeno
Teamster.. Now the rest of the story.
Lets say I own company A and am paying my employees health insuance, which costs me 20%+ per employee. You're argument is that I wlll continue to pay that employee insurance. Here's the unintended consequences that come from the public option. I decide to quit paying my employee insurance premium.... forcing them to go to the public option. Oh I know that they say I'll have to pay a penalty for doing that, but if that penalty is less than the 20%+ that I'm paying now, I still save money.
Since you use the term Teamster. This will effect unions that have the so-called Cadillac insurance plans more than most.
Stand by..it's coming to a government near you.
Bend over and grab your ankles folks. But you won't be getting a kiss after the Democrats screw you.
The AP finally released the profit margins of those evil insurance companies today. Not greater than 6% on average with 2008 being 2.2%. For those of you that graduated publik skool..... that means they earned 2.2 cents per dollar. That's not greedy or evil. In fact in any other industry the stockholders would be in open revolt.
But Obama and his gang, including the state run media, have spread the lie so extensively about the greedy insurance companies that no kool-aid drinking liberal on these pages will accept this poor performance. Hell, Tupperware and Hershey Chocolates performed better. And those wonderful trial lawyers reported a 14% ROI (look the term up) last year and yet you don't hear anyone screaming "greed" about that. Of course the trial lawyers almost exclusively contribute big dollars to the Dems. Talk about special interests.

If you're a non Catholic, you have no right to tell the church who to give communion to or not.
Having said that, I believe the church should excommunicate Catholic politicians who vote for abortion. They can then vote their conscience without being "threatened" by the church.
Hows that for a solution?
