How is giving away your product for free 'thinking outside the box' and innovative?
This is the same district that sacrifices academic and extracurricular programs because of a lack of funds yet somehow finds tens of millions to construct a new building for their Channel 10 TV station.
Only in Vegas!
Rod Blagojevich, a man who has truly earned the right to be called a Liberal Democrat. Well done!
How does one accumulate $1.5 million dollars and then go about losing it all through a land deal in Pahrump of all places?
It boggles the mind someone can save so much cash and then be so naive! Seriously. Dennis London must have been one heck of a salesman.
When the cost of going to a NASCAR race rise to Formula One like costs, there is a serious pricing problem. 2007 - I went to LVMS and Fall PIR...2008 - I attended the Canadian Grand Prix.. guess which one was a better value? F1 by a mile.....food for thought.
Financial Education needs to be a mandatory High School Class for all US High School Students. It should be given the same priority as math, writing, and reading. All too often I hear stories like Eric's about trusting college students taking thousands in loans. Schools need to stop getting bonuses or kick backs for signing up as many students as they can with loans from preferred providers. Frankly schemes like that are ridiculous and border on criminal. Best of luck to you Eric and the others who are forced to pay back thousands in student loans.
Hindsight is always 20/20. Still if nothing else, I hope my generation can learn from the mistakes of the current baby boomers/sub prime home buyers.
I always thought Carl would do anything to win but I never would have believed he would go to this extent :D
Another great one Mike!
"Gibbons is not a Governor... He does not act like a Governor nor does he have the heart to be a Governor.. Gibbons is a cold manipulating SOB... Just ask the other two women in his life, his mistressess, what kind of person he really is... Gibbons is out for himself, and what ever brings him pleasure..."
Obama is not a President... He does not act like a President nor does he have the heart to be a President.. Obama is a cold manipulating SOB... Just ask the other two men in his life, his pastor Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, what kind of person he really is... Obama is out for himself, and what ever brings him pleasure...
See how ignorant that sounds? What I wrote about Obama is no different than your rants about Gibbons. Like it or not, Jim Gibbons was elected the Governor of the State of Nevada, the highest office in the state. That alone is worthy of respect. Making disparaging remarks about Gibbons is disrespecting the office of the Governor. Of course we are free to criticize his policies and handing of his actions while acting as governor, namely his handling of the state's budget crisis and Hepatitis outbreak, but to resort to personal attacks to show your displeasure with the Governor demonstrates you are no better than he is.
I voted for McCain. He lost the election and I got over it. President elect Obama will be my president come January 20th. I would not resort to making personal attacks about Barack or his family, as I have enormous respect for the office of the President of the United States. How about you? Are you one of those liberals who has yet to get over 2000? Are you one of those liberals who thinks, "George Bush, he's not MY president?" Get over it and move on.
Now if you want to criticize Gibbons' actions while in office, by all means go right ahead, but DON'T YOU DARE DISRESPECT THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, my state, a state which has given my family and I so much opportunity and prosperity over the years.

I'm purchasing my first condo on Monday. It was pretty hard for me to rent when I could buy a condo for less and obtain a generous $7,500 Dollar for Dollar IRS tax credit for first time home buyers.
Jim my friend, I wish you all the best! May you be handsomely rewarded in the years to come for your patience and determination.
