So some of you are saying, that eye candy and attractive people are the reason for bad service??? Really??
Skilled Union Labor??!! Ha! What a joke. Look what they did to the auto industry. Someone joins the the union, pays their dues, demands higher wages, more denefits. What a joke, down with unions!!!
So instead of easing back into things, they get a little confidence, and think they can start raising prices. If room rates are low that's more money spent at the tables. I guess now that they have City Center funded, they have to pay for it somehow.
The unions ruined Detroit, they are going to ruin Vegas.
Why should farmers in Utah and Canada suffer to supply pointless water fountains and pools for the rich and give up their water just because Las Vegas is greedy?? Vegas had their chance to conserve. Oh well.
I was just in Vegas for the NHRA race, I stayed South Point. The place wasn't packed but it had alot of people. I saw City Center, what a mess. I hope it goes well. I have been reading about it for a few months, how much trouble it's in. No matter who's fault it is, I wish Vegas well and hope it makes it through. I did notice it wasn't "packed" but it wasn't dead. I didn't go to every hotel on the strip, but I made it to NYNY and MGM, it definatly was not full. Good Luck Vegas.
I agree with azsk8fan, I'm from out of state, and it's hard to find a "regular" casino without staying away from everything or staying in a real dive. Everyday Joe needs to have a place he can feel comfortable without going broke.

Just spent a week in Vegas for business. Couldn't believe how expensive things were on the strip. Even fast food places were $$$$$. Alot of the shops were empty, drinks were way over priced. While driving back east stopped at a couple casinos, they were packed, and I was treated better. Good luck Vegas
