WOW - I didn't know I was a potential terrorist until Sharon Angle talked 'aboot' it - Thanks, Sharon! I don't "hang around" the border and I am not trying to grab a Yankee job... I just grab an Allegiant Air flight from Bellingham (aboot 3 times a year) and head down to Vegas to spend my socialist earned dollars on a capitalist vice...thankfully I have the money since I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for my universal healthcare. (ouch!)
I can't believe you are being subjected to such inaccurate garbage! I do read your online news and always take the time to watch the news on tv when I visit, so I try to stay informed about the country, state and city I love to visit most...but, Holy Cow! Asian??? Terrorist? Are you kidding me??? I guess the American dream is alive and well...you can become anything you want in the Good Ol' U.S of A... Hopefully the good people of Nevada will vote otherwise.
See you in February! xoxo from waaay up North in Vancouver, Canada,eh. :-)
For the past 5 years I have visited LV 3x a year from Canada and have to say that Harrah's really has lost its charm... I've had some pretty bad service there and I feel overall the Harrah's franchise seems somewheat cheap. Maybe I'm too much in love with the glam persona of the Vegas that I've seen in the movies but selling crap inside and out (food/clothing/trinkets etc), letting IP become a dive (why did they change IP's campy but FUN Luau location from the poolside to the dingy buffet???), pushing the Party Pit idea...who are they trying to market to? Is the plan to make all the properties the same? It seems that Harrah's just lets everything get run-down and staff hate working for them. Maybe I would, too. I'll be at Luxor (pretty much the only place I'll stay now) and I'm looking forward to checking out the new City Centre. I love you Las Vegas, but please put a leash on Harrah's.
I live in Vancouver, Canada and just spent 6 days in Vegas which I do 2-3 times a year. I was at last Tuesday night's show and loved it, even if it was a little campy and cost $277 for two tickets after the exchange rate. My only suggestion for the show would be to cut a bit of the banter and allow for a couple more songs - or make it a little less contrived - and for the hotel to do something about the floor seating. We were seated in A4 and could only see the performance when the performers were at the front of the stage (except for the video screen). All in all a great show, but we would've liked a better view for that kind of money.

Actually, Yes, I have. His name was John Fitzgerald KENNEDY.
I watched a great documentary about him last night. To my beloved neighbours to the South:
May he rest in peace and may your country have another leader like him.
