Posted on: Metro officer's fatal shooting of teen ruled justified

Case closed. Now, we can try to figure how how the boy got from there to here. A life of chaos and neglect? No dad in the picture? Revolving-door significant other male substitutes for dad? Whatever the answers, looking back, I'm sure it could all have been avoided. A lot of soul searching is sure to take place in this family -- if a family even exists.

Bryce Buckwalter told the board that his brother is a "good doctor..." Wow! I wonder what this man would consider a "bad" doctor!

I wish they'd chosen a better photo of the two young men for this story. I'm sure they are a couple of nice guys but the scowls make them look like more of a mug shot.

Won't this problem be solved the following year when the taxpayer files a new return? After all, everything is tracked by a social security number which is attached to a person for their entire life. Correct?

It is all so simple! When you have an encounter with a police officer you simply keep your mouth shut and follow his or her instructions. That is the law --- and by doing so, you will save yourself a whole lot of grief. See how easy that was?
