There are some really intelligent comments today. I enjoy reading them.
If only the casinos had not been turned into giant penny arcades. I lost interest when the penny machines became the "new $5 machines".
My wife's mother was 15 when she was born. The first of six. She is wonderful!
My wife almost died at the hands of an arrogant doctor at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During gall bladder surgery, he left a stone in her bile duct just below the drain. The only reason to put in a drain would be to go back later and pluck it out (teaching hospital). We were told by the doctor who saved her life that it was too big to miss and he indicated that it was probably left on purpose. Further investigation showed just how many had died because of him! Fortunately for us, Hurricane Ike hit the area and put him out of business. We rushed her to Central Texas and they literally saved her life. She was misdiagnosed in Las Vegas in 2006. Funny how things work out for the best for some. We feel very lucky. I am grateful everyday for my wife of 32 years!
(Stock: So, you haven't backed out? You are debating Harry Reid and debating him face-to-face on October 14th?
Angle: Yes, we are.)
We?
matadams4u: That is a very nice video. Thank you for sharing.
If he is such a good doctor, maybe we should just keep him in Nevada?
Go Dina!
New Orleans is a major port and cannot be ignored. It is the gateway to the Mississippi River.
Maybe if the states used the stimulus funds they were given in a better way, it would be different. For example: Texas Gov. Perry took the stimulus funds and put it into the general fund to pay state bills. I am sure that he got his way with rebuilding the governor's mansion with $10 million of the funds. How does this help job growth throughout the state?
Maybe it is time to hold some of the state leaders accountable for wasting the stimulus funds.
