Wow - I'm surprised at the backlash from some Cook fans here. I agree - chill! Archuleta is by far my favorite, but I've NEVER had a problem complimenting Cook when he deserved it. Too bad the same couldn't be said for some of you. I agree with Ron. Praising Archuleta isn't a slap in the face to Cook. Joe named him in 2nd place for the evening. Cook can't always be first! Archuleta may not have won the AI title, but it sounds like he won over Vegas at last night's concert. He's really has come out of his shell since the show ended. He's not only an amazing vocalist, but now he's a performer!

I'm so happy to hear the rave reviews coming from each concert spot. I don't know why its such a surprise to some. Those of us who have supported him from the beginning saw that special something in his first audition...and it goes far beyond his vocal talent. His sweetness, his shyness, his lack of ego together with his talent comprises a complete package that is so lacking presently in the industry. In a world of Britneys', Paris' and Lindseys', I think people have been waiting for someone to come along who encompasses not only incredible talent, but a sense of values, humility and hope. It's only a matter of time before David is a major superstar!
