Widespread andproven voter fraud took place in 2008. Just ask the FBI.
There is no reason to believe that those who perpetrated the fraud won't try it again. Espcially since the fraud was not detected until after the fact. After the vote is done and certified, there's nothing the FBI or anyone else can do about it. The vote is certified & done and we can't take the results back. (Sen. Al Franken is the most prominent example.)
So it is not surprising that many ordinary Americans stepped up this year to become involved a poll watchers. It is a good thing. We have a right to have voters present to watch before, during and after the elections process.
And it is a good thing to catch the fraud while it is in progress, since we cannot do anything about it after it's done.
We continue to buy oil from foreign countries while being prevented (by the government) from utilizing our own resources. Not smart.
Speaking of pawns, Harry Reid totally ignores the people of Nevada in favor of his boss, Barack Obama.
Harry Reid is a loyal lieutenent -- he works full time for Obama in Washington DC. He comes to Nevada only long enough to get reelected by the pawns, so he can go back home to DC to continue serving the boss.
How bad is it? We're broke, unemployed and we see businesses going bankrupt all around us.
How bad can it get? Obama and Reid don't know what the heck to do. Yet Reid wants to go back to DC to screw it up some more.
We can't make any progress until the People do something about it. We'll see what happens on Tuesday.
It is VERY smart to dump a 24-year senator who does NOT represent his own people.
Harry Reid's first loyalty is to Obama, not to the people of Nevada.
A senator is supposed to represent the people of his state. Harry Reid doesn't care about Nevada. Obama is his boss now.
In a free nation, the government is not supposed to "alleviate our pain." Socialism does that.
European-style Socialism gives us all those things to alleviate our pain: food stamps for adults, free food & day care for kids, welfare & unemployment checks for all, mortgaged homes we don't have to pay for and free, rationed health care.
With Socialism, we don't have to worry about taking care of ourselves; the government takes care of us..."alleviates our pain." The only thing we need to do in return is give up our Liberty.
How do we like the change? Apparently a large portion of the nation wants to keep Obama-style Socialism. This year's election returns will show us whether the fundamental change to Socialism will become permanent.
Yes sir, Benjamin Franklin -- when asked what kind of government we had -- said,
"A Republic...if you can keep it!"
It is the People's responsibility to keep the Republic. Yet we are now dangerously close to losing it.
Our representatives today serve the government, not the People.
George Washington told us "the power under the Constitution will always be in the People."
But, government has taken on a tyrannical life of its own...its domineering taxes, regulations and laws are sucking the very life out of We The People.
The question remains, do We The People have any power left? Can we restore the Republic?
We will know on Tuesday.
Politicians desperate to keep the power for themselves. That's what negative ads are all about. They can't say anything good about any public service they've done, so they try to destroy their opponents.
Let's hope this election will restore the power to the people. It is still possible.
The government is supposed to work for us, not the other way around.
For nearly 200 years, government accounted for about 5% of the total economy. Today, it takes about 40% of our economic output to support the government.
What's wrong with this picture??
It's time to cut the government down to an appropriate size so the people can be free again to pursue their own livelihoods.

We should not be surprised that elite politicians say that having too many people watching the voting process will imtimidate voters...or that it will mess up the process because ordinary people do not understand the nuances of the voting process.
The American system of self-governance belongs to the people. We the People own and operate elections.
American citizens cherish our right to vote.
And we are obligated to protect our vote from those who would steal it.
