"Obama's campaign is either misinformed, or misinforming."

Unlike the Clintons... who ALWAYS tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help them G-d.

More and more, when I see the Clintons, I think of the funny as h-ll Al Franken book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them."

So help US, G-d, if those people get re-elected.

poll workers should kick him out... that is intimidation to the max...

Um, excuse me Mr. Ralston, but I was reading your paper to learn the identities and connections of the persons involved in the lawsuit. If you have proof to the contrary of what was reported on the NEWS pages of your paper as FACT, perhaps you should mosey down the hall and let the real reporters in on the deal. And that other Nevada paper you refer to as "internet illiterate" elsewhere, along with other media outlets, seemed to get the story perfectly straight. And I might AND SO DID YOU -- that is until the Sun ENDORSED Clinton.

Coincidence? we'll be the judge...

The Clintons were involved via their connections to the key players in the lawsuit. And it doesn't take a Yucca Mountain nuclear scientist to connect the dots between no lawsuit pre-endorsement to big-A** lawsuit post-endorsement.

We are not that stupid. Do not play Clintonian games with us. We know exactly in front of whose shoes you and Mr. Greenspun are kneeling.

Caucus for Barack Obama... do it for Nevada and do it for the rest of the country.

Sadly, the Las Vegas Sun endorsed the wrong candidate.

One need only look at the transparent attempt by Hillary Clinton, her husband (the former President) and Nevada backers to manipulate and re-write the caucus rules at the eleventh hour to see why she is a poor choice to lead this nation. It was brazen attempt to undo what was originally crafted to boost her chances to win in Nevada. When the Culinary Workers decided to back a different candidate (and I firmly believe the same tactics would have been in play if the CW had endorsed John Edwards and not Barack Obama), the Clinton surrogates sought to disenfranchise not only CW workers but those who also work long hours on the Strip.

I believe that Nevada voters can see through her shameless attempt to "game" the system. We do not need that in the White House.

Fortunately, there are two candidates who deserve your caucus votes: Barack Obama or John Edwards. I wholeheartedly support Barack Obama. I believe he is the candidate with the best vision for where this nation should go from 2009 and beyond. As an alternative choice to Hillary Clinton, I urge you to also consider the candidacy of John Edwards, who brings a fighting spirit to the challenge of the presidency.

When you consider the future of our country, consider in whose hands it would be safeguarded: someone who believes in lifting us up and bringing us together? Or someone whose politics of division and polarization? One who works for the betterment of all? Or one who puts self (and winning) above all else?

You have seen the candidates, now it is time to make your decision. The right decision for Nevada and our country is Barack Obama.

Caucus for Barack Obama on Saturday, January 19.

Hillary's Nevada team of supporters concocted a system to insure her victory back when she was the inevitable winner and on her way to "coronation." But she lost Iowa. (And claimed that caucuses were unfair, she never should have gone there, it was too hard, college students were against her, people were cheating.) Then she goes to New Hampshire, nearly sheds a tear and presto! pulls a magic bunny out of her ----- and wins! Now she's in Nevada and soon South Carolina. For the Carolinians she claims Barack Obama is the racist one, while sending out her squadron of lieutenants to fling tawdry, race-baiting mud. In Nevada, she loses Culinary's endorsement (it just as easily could have gone to John Edwards) and cries foul! Her pals connected with the Teachers' union decide to file a bogus lawsuit at the last minute, after being intimately involved in making the rules. Bill whines that it's all so unfair. Both claim ignorance of the lawsuit. They claim people are being bullied, but none of their tales pan out.

So on the eve of the caucus, they claim we're gonna lose because the game we created is rigged against us!

No more Clintons.

Happy 10th Anniversary Lewinsky Scandal Day! Everybody wear a blue dress!

Sooner or later, Americans must realize that to have any realistic plan to eliminate dependence on foreign oil, nuclear power, along with solar, wind and bio-diesel or other synthetic fuel must all be part of the mix.

If most "U. S. Americans" would pay attention to what countries like Brazil and France are doing with bio-fuels and nuclear power, respectively, we would see that both countries are far ahead of us with regard to "fuel independence."

Barack Obama is trying to tell you all something that you NEED to know and that you may not like to hear, but in the end, he is right. This is one of those tough decisions that a real president has to make.

Unless you like rising gas, fuel oil, utilities costs, unless you personally stand to profit from them, we need to make some serious changes in how we fuel our country, and in exchange do much better at fueling our economy.

Here's the diff: Clinton tells you what you WANT to hear. Obama tells you what you NEED to hear. Vote your needs over your wants.

Thursday AM... From the UPDATE ABOVE:

"The Culinary Union has investigated and says the source of the drama seemed to be about how one changes one’s party registration three days before the caucus.

Antuna was a registered independent, and the union reps were talking to her about how she had to be a Democrat to participate on Saturday, Weiss said.

Hardly scandalous and certainly not intimidation, she added.

Weiss said she suspects the whole incident was drummed up by the enthusiastic Clinton supporters, who got heated when the union reps started pitching Obama."

Okay, now that the hype and hysteria over what happened is cleared up and the dust has settled, are Marie Angers and her son Matt DeFalco, ready to retract the tales that they told and have blown out of proportion?

I bet not.
