How do you people know that Metro ISNT pending any paycuts? I for one know for a FACT that they ARE pending MORE paycuts. MORE. Like they already have implemented them, already in effect for over 1 year....so before you start making your comments, have your facts. If your so appalled about how much a government worker makes...then why didnt you just apply yourself? When researching jobs you want, dont you look into everything that is involved like education, experience, benefits, salary, etc? Or are all of you bashers just those that can only work at menial jobs suited for kids who are still in high school working for spending money?

Its protesters like this I want to track and when one of their loved ones dies, I so want to be there raise a stink and be cruel and just plain ruin their day so they never forget it wasnt a peaceful goodbye for them.

While I dont agree that abortion is a form of birth control, I do however feel that some women should not have any more children while sitting at home living off my tax dollars while I'm forced to work, or for certain medical reasons a pregnancy might have its advantages to be terminated. But I get tired of hearing from all these Planned Parenthood/Personhood supporters about how they can provide all the help a woman needs to continue her pregnancy and keep the child or put it up for adoption. How about some of them putting themselves on those adoption lists and taking these children so once again....I'm not paying for someone else's kid. I dont have any of my own for a reason....I CANT AFFORD IT!.

And if its not the mentally ill, the ER's are filled with illegal immigrants that use the ER departments as a doctor's office and then skip out on the bill, making me pay out more for my insurance.

Are you kidding me? I've been a tax paying American my entire life and I dont qualify for any student loans or any financial assistance for college. Even had a CCSN employee in financial aid tell me I didnt qualify, but the alien hispanic male in the cubicle next to me was getting almost his entire education paid for. What is wrong here? I'm empathic to her situation of being put through a horrible ordeal with her husband, but that doesnt mean she should jump the line and get perks that I am being denied. This has to end somewhere.

I have lived in Vegas for 6 years. And in that time, whenever I see and hear an ambulance approaching an intersection...they do it at an expected slow pace. Drivers in Vegas I've noticed have no clue as to what is going on in their surroundings. Too busy talking on the phone, turning around messing with the kids in the back seat, putting on their make up, having the dog sit on their lap with their head out the window, not maintaining their own lanes, etc. I never wish any ill will on anyone, but this could have been prevented.

It would be nice to know that people will just take the time to spend with the kids, keep them interested and active in life and not just have babies because they are cute or trying to keep the boyfriend of the week with them a little longer or just making it easier for them not to work and letting the rest of us pay their way through life.

I dont care how long or short anyone's deployment is or was. I'm grateful to anyone who has been away from home and family to protect me and mine. This isn't a place to whine, lets just be thankful.
