I'm sorry, STEPHANIE TAVARES (author) but your article is both INTELLECTUALY and JOURNALISTICALLY DISHONEST !!! Your headline borders on being a BLATANT LIE ! You own figures state that each solar plant will decrease pollution by 80-90%, yet your headline screams "SOLAR PLANTS COULD WORSEN AIR QUALITY". Sure, if 10 or 12 new solar plants come online there will be a SMALL increase in pollution to start them in the morning, but we will receive 10 times the power... and CLEAN power the rest of the day. Your blatantly MISLEADING headline smacks of CORPORATE CRONYISM....

The intersection is a 2-way stop, not a 4-way. The girls ran the stop sign. It looks like the back seat passenger took the worst of it (her head probably broke out the window). If the driver was one of the 17-year olds, and all were teenage girls, my guess is they ran the stop sign BECAUSE THEY WERE TEXTING OR TWEETING THEIR STUPID FRIENDS !!! I SEE KIDS THESE DAYS WALK INTO WALLS AND POLES BECAUSE THEY'RE TEXTING !!! A poll released this week says the average teenager in America today sends over 100 texts and tweets A DAY !!!! Over 3,000 a month. Sad... a lost generation....
