Just so you know, UNLV finished 14th in the coaches poll in '06-'07. The AP doesn't have a poll after the tournament starts, the coaches do. We finished the year in the top 15, so take that! It's ironic that your name is Sufferin when we are the ones that have to everytime you post. Your negativity is annoying. Get a life.
I think he could be really great for us, and a redshirt year would be extremely beneficial for him and us. I just hope he is able to keep a positive attitude and really work hard. I want him in a Rebels uniform. It gets really annoying having the same naysayer comment on every article multiple times. Didn't your mother ever tell you if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? I wonder if you have any friends? Most people can't stand to be around those who are always negative. You call yourself a real fan, but that's far from the truth. You're nothing special, there are tons just like you. They're called fair-weather fans. Most just aren't as annoying. I wish we were top 10 just like everyone else. It's called life. The college basketball landscape is different. Deal with it! Be more considerate in your comments, especially about the players. Get some friends.
Well, now that that's out of the way... Let's start winning a little more convincingly please.
Well at least they won:P Last year started with defeat at ASU in a closed scrimmage. I'll take it as a good omen.
Don't forget about O! It sounds like he made some great progress over the summer and is looking to be more aggressive. I think he'll be a big factor in their success.
It would be great to have him, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Maybe if the Rebels have a great season it would persuade him to stay in Vegas?
So from what I've read about Cal they seem to be pretty good. I haven't seen any kind of predictions about the game. Are we favored to win?
i sure hope they pull it together for the second half. they can't struggle this badly on the road monday and pull out the win.
Great article Rob. I agree 100% that this is not the time to start panicking. They won a close game and had some real bright spots. Oscar was VERY impressive in his debut. That dunk was amazing. I can't wait to see what else he's got. Go Rebels!
