Wynn has to praise his overlords in China. They own the land he spent billions building on. His 100 year lease can be revoked at a whim. He doesn't want them to increase the 35% tax he pays on his gaming win. Wynn doesn't want the Chinese government to FURTHER restrict travel to Macau. Yep, that's 'more free' than the USA? <rolls eyes>
The day to day operations of Nevada are the responsibility of Governor Gibbons. The Governor declared an emergency to seize control of federal stimulus funds. Now Nevada is near last place among all the states in spending the stimulus funds. Why is Governor Gibbons playing political games with Nevada's recovery?
A Wild-cat roaming freely in the Shark's domain? I'm not worried, Coach is a master at handling Wild-cats. Just wish it was televised!!
Get well soon Coach!
I love the Las Vegas Sun. I can count on about a dozen rightwing loons to state daily how much they hate this paper. But, the same complainers come here every day to read the paper they hate, and then post their disgust. Love it, love it, love it. Starts my day off with a laugh.
Can anyone tell me what Governor Gibbons is doing about unemployment?
Sgt. Rock I can finally agree with you.
Thumper: A lot of strawman arguments. So basically ALL Nevadan's are guilty. Do a little research and you'll find that ALL landfills operated from 1962-1993 have toxicity within them. But, to try and convict Senator Reid who has led the fight against dumping the most toxic substance on the planet within Yucca Mountain, shows you are nothing but a loon.
Thumper, not one of the links you provide even mention Senator Reid. So, what is the point of your rants? Are you trying to say anyone who received a campaign donation from Republic Services is somehow guilty of landfill violations?
Senator Reid has served Nevada honorably and ethically; items missing from our junior Senator Ensign and Governor Gibbons. Right wing extremists who proclaim "anyone but Reid" are exactly the reason we get poor leaders like Bush, Gibbons, and Ensign.
Grow up and study the issues and vote with common sense, not with "anyone but Reid"
Nice job NanceE boy Sgt. Rock. Looks like Senator Reid can count on your vote.

Two moderate republicans were elected to STATE office. One far right Neocon republican was rejected in a republican stronghold district, which has not elected a democrat in 150 years.
This confirms the worries of many oldschool republican leaders....that the parties neocons are making it VERY difficult to win federal elections, even in traditionally republican strongholds.
The non-stop spin from the neocon loons is at least amusing.
