MWCRob is right, this is obviously good news. But, as they say, everyone's a critic. Why? Because criticizing is so very easy and takes very little horsepower. While some have convinced themselves that they are being 'insightful', they are not. You know you have problems when your brain believes both of these to be true:
Losing jobs = bad
Adding jobs = bad
Always finding the awful in everything really is signal to get some therapy. Not being mean folks, but adding new jobs is a very good thing and it should make you happy...and happy for those that get the jobs.
qwkinuf - In general, asking someone to agree to a quote, without first citing the source, is a very old trick. Policitians give many speeches and you can usually tease out some lines to fit your needs. Then you try to get the other person to "agree". Then you reveal who the quote is from...usually a highly charged name like Hitler or Marx...then you paint the other person with a broad brush implying that they are just like this bad person from history (or even now). Not a very honorable tactic, no matter what your point of view.
Followup commercial - stuffed animals driving the Stripper Mobile back to Vegas from its road trip.
Sshhh! Inside the horse is Owen Wilson and a little toy army waiting to take over the Forum Shoppes. We'll see how the Roman centurions respond!

Was in town last week and the walkways have changed for the worse. More so called street performers, more aggressive pan handlers and saw a group of young men on that walkway from NYNY and MGM. Maybe the same girlygirl saw. About 4 or 5 Charles Manson look alike contestants who were sitting but yelling out randomly at people walking past. Everyone was pressing over to the other side as much as possible.
One street performer was standing near and his female cohort was waiving her arms to get him to play. Needless to say she accidentally slapped another lady walking by in the face. No one even said sorry.
Still love Vegas but it's getting stranger - and not in a good way. Was going to recommend to a newbie visitor to always take the walkways instead of the crosswalks. I don't know, maybe facing the 10 lanes of traffic would be safer?
