Here we go already. Ensign has no clue who may oppose Reid yet he is commited to taking him out. What a way to start working toward improving our economy, creating new jobs, clean alternative energy, health care, bringing our troops home honorably and making our country a better place for us all.
Joe Lieberman has been, shamelessly, hanging off coat tails for years. First he wanted to run for President then he became Al Gore's running mate in 2004 and since then he has been prominently "palling" around with Republicans. Joe "the" Lieberman is an opportunist who needs to be watched carefully. Although we are in a moment of unity and hopefullness I'm sure Senator Reid is well aware of selfish motives.

What amazes me more than anything else is how people seem to accept opposition positions of candidates. Case in point from the above article, "Trisha Milton, 31, of Las Vegas, said she is "scared" of Obama's win. Although she wasn't a strong supporter of McCain, she voted for him because she said she felt he was the lesser of two evils and feared that Obama wouldn't support the military."
Pesident Elect Obama has clearly stated his commitment to our military in his speeches and listed the following few points on his web site.
-Invest in a 21st Century Military
-Build Defense Capabilities for the 21st Century
-Restore the Readiness of the National Guard and Reserves
-Develop Whole of Government Initiatives to Promote Security
-Restore Our Alliances
-Reform Contracting
