It is very encouraging that the NPUC is willing to look at ways to empower folks to generate their own power affordably. New companies like Citizenre, SunEdison and Golden Sierra Power, that are willing to rent solar equipment, are providing a much needed change in the solar industry. To suggest these companies are public utility providers is like saying Hertz is a car manufacturer.
This is a vital step in moving our country toward Energy Independence and giving more control back to the people for the energy they create and consume. The next step is to reduce our consumption... :)
