Don't worry folks, the Clintons will destroy themselves. Now sit back and watch Obama gain delegates - 13 here to Clinton's 12 - and win SC.
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primari...
The Clinton News Network has it 13 Obama to 12 Clinton of the 25 caucus delegates awarded today.
Go stand for Obama. Where's the confusion?
I'm convinced that Clinton supporters want what's best for our country. But when Rupert Murdoch and 5 other News Corporation/Fox News execs have contributed to Hillary Clinton's campaign, along with $567,950 under the heading "lobbyists", according to opensecrets.org, you know the spin masters working to divide this country are foaming at the mouth for Clinton. Exactly the inverse to "Now the fun begins" as I'm sure you're reminded, but nonetheless is a reality.
Consider that we are faced with a critical moment in our nation's history for choosing the course we take on the war, affordable health care, and ending our addiction to oil. Nevada can choose between continuing the status quo - Clinton's war with the other side of the aisle and keeping what should be our government ruled by the corporate lobby - or beginning to lead government toward accountability, working together, and solving the issues. This draws the greatest distinction between Clinton and Obama.
All change in America starts with ordinary people. Not only is the current administration corrupt and deceptive but it has worked very hard to arrange politics to resist change.
Hillary Clinton is a part of this politics of resistance. The only experience she represents is the roadblock to meaningful change. The experience of stockpiling political capital; the politics of taking turns; the quest to regain power; the resumption of old alliances. All point to the exclusion of having government work for ordinary people.
Our party could stay with the status quo candidate(s) of whom they are comfortable and familiar. Or they could embrace a new generation of leadership with a new understanding of a new age and new policies and ideas.
Obama's endorsements are by people who best understand the urgency for a new direction within the party and have the courage to change.
Arizona governor Janet Napolitano, and U.S. Sens. Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Tim Johnson of South Dakota, Claire McCaskill of Missouri among others understand that a new generation of leaders - unbound by old policies, old commitments and arrangements, old deals and old friendships - can move America beyond the gridlock which is destroying our country.
This is a time when America must leave old politics behind. This election is about transition not power.
For everyone's best interests, I challenge you to analyze each candidate's stance on the issues, and carefully consider where we are headed. These problems are complex and will require a great deal of cooperation.
I believe we need Obama to come in and unite this country behind solving the issues instead of choosing the only candidate running who could refuel the battle in Washington.
It's time to make the change from the ineffectual, stubborn, partisan battle in our politics.
No wonder they're confused after that pre-flight attempt at humor. 2008 will go down in history as the year the Clintons made us so sick of themselves we’ll vote anyone else but them into office.
How about Hillary gets on the microphone on her next flight and says “If every American had an air sickness bag, and they barfed into it all at once, would they stop being sick of me?” NO, HILLARY.
