I'm not the one who needs help. The taxpayers are the ones who needs help. Nothing will come of this Court decision. The same old bureaucrats will continue as they always have. By tomorrow this whole case will be forgotten by all but those intimately involved. NDOT's good old boy system won't change. Maybe our new Governor can do something about this mess.

The above article got me so fird up that I did some research. The Chief Pilot, last name Phillips, was demoted to the classification of Pilot, but kept his $90,000 a year pay "for the good of the State!" Anybody with a functioning brain would know that "for the good of the State" should have meant that Phillips should have been terminated for intentionally making it a habit of flying unsafely! There was also something mentioned about Phillips continuing to operate the plane with a cracked windshield, keeping in mind that this is a pressurized airplane! It's all there in the FAA investigation. I'll repeat myself: All of those corrupt bureaucrats who allowed this injustice to happen should be terminated! Of course if you readers don't care about how your tax dollars are spent, or don't care about fools are running government offices, then you can just yawn and turn to the sports section of the newspaper.

It would appear that State Government is just as capable of corruption as Federal Government in the firing of Mr. Richardson. Whistle blowers are Patriots who want honesty in whatever they bring to light. In this situation, Mr. Richardson had the common sense to attempt to stop routine unsafe operation by the Chief Pilot. What did Mr. Richardson get for his concern?....He got fired! What happened to the Chief Pilot? I heard that the FAA was investigating him! In hindsight, Mr. Richardson should have been promoted to the Chief Pilot position, and the now terminated Chief Pilot should have been fired! However, with the Good Old Boy system in Government jobs, it's who you know.

As a Citizen and tax payer of the State of Nevada for 49 years, I believe that any and all persons involved in the firing of Mr. Richardson should they themselves be terminated and all of their retirement benefits should be withheld to pay for future punitive actions by Mr. Richardson. A great wrong has been done. Let those who intentionally did that wrong pay for it out of their own pockets!

Develop the alternative energy resources first, and only then consider not drilling. Why continue to spend 700 Billion dollars every year for foreign oil? Spend that money here, and keep that money here! Enough of the partisan politics already!

I think I missed an article. For the Navajo, there was an engine failure with a fire after takeoff, he was trying to turn around but landed between two houses. Pretty good trick for a 40 foot wingspan airplane. Be tough enough for a little Cessna single engine to do. That's all I know? The guy was a good pilot to pull that off. I'm sure if it was within the ability of the Navajo to make it back to the airport, that's exactly what he would have done

Any Liberal who claims the "News" media isn't showing favoritism to Obama must be wearing horse blinders. CNN should be registered as a PAC for Obama, considering the way in which they slant information to vilify Palin. Considering Obama’s background of associating with a known avowed Communist during his growing up years, and having a friendship with an avowed American terrorist group member (Weather Underground), he wouldn’t even be able to get the lowest of security clearances in the military, IF they actually allowed him into the military! If Sarah Palin had that same background, it would be front page scandal news! I’m sure that the “News” media knows that the majority of general public realizes their bias for “Liberals,” but there are enough people who are too stupid and will believe anything that they read, and will vote accordingly. Perhaps voters should be required to take an intelligence test to qualify as a voter! That would thin out the ranks! As it is now, many people will vote for Obama because he makes them “feel good” That’s a reason to vote for him?

Palin is everything Obama isn’t. Obama is for more government control, anti-gun ownership (tell that to the criminals), wants to impose a windfall profits tax on oil companies (big mistake), wants to increase Social Security taxes, wants to increase gas taxes, wants to increase Capital gains taxes, tells the National council of LaRaza that American children should learn Spanish in order to communicate with illegals from Mexico!, is for open borders and legalizing all the illegals here now, and like past President Clinton…has received an estimated $33,000 in illegal campaign contributions from Palestinians via his web site. Imagine the uproar if all of this applied to Palin? The manner is which much of the “News” about Palin is reported amounts to propaganda used against her. The intentional avoidance of the "News" media to focus on the background of Obama mentioned above amounts to propaganda by ommission of reporting it.

Depending on the type of turbo-charger, or super-charger, a failure can result in either a restricted or a blocked intake. Either way, you're going to go down.

Prior to takeoff, the pilot had radioed the tower a request to remain in the traffic pattern, probably to remain close to the airport while he gained altitude. Such a request isn't out of the ordinary. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Most unfortunate are the lack of open areas on the departure end of the runway. Homes don't belong in an area where crashes can occur.

I notice that Michelle Obama has been put on the sidelines unless absolutely necessary to speak. Her problem is that she always seems to carry a chip on her shoulder. It's palpable.

Too bad that Ron Paul and Sarah Palin weren't the Presidential and VP candidates! That would straighten out the Federal Government!
