This why people hate politics. This is why people do not vote.

Why not just stick to the issues? Its about Supply Side Economics vs. Demand Side Economics. About Right Moderate vs. Left Moderate. Its about how the world views the USA, and Lastly about the direction of the USA.

Both of the candidates have experience and love for their country. Each has something to offer.

They both have excellent character. Each also has weakness and strengths.

You vote based on how they may serve you. They are elected public servants. They are not elected to lead, but to lead as your servant.

When will Americans realize that they must choose based on issues?

Mr. Biden answered all of the questions. Ms. Palin proved to be a good speaker. But she failed to answer several questions directly and played 'politics' with here statistical dancing on the issues and facts.

Everyone was impressed by Palin. But, the standard was not very high.

This election is clear and simple. Its about Supply Side Economic Theory and Trickle Down verses Demand Side Economic Theory and Trickle Up. Its about war, more war, or less war. Its about increasing the power of the vice president verses abiding by and respecting the constitution. It is about ability.

This election is also about religion based ideals verses pluralism.

It is about who can make wise decisions and who understands the issues.

Stop making your decisions based on who winks at you on TV, who is pretty, who was a prisoner, who is a man or woman or who is white or black. After the debacle of the last 8 years, its time Americans sit back and really think this time.

Look at the issues. We all have differing opinions. Vote for whomever you believe will garner respect for the United States as a nation, who sincerely cares about the people of the United States, and who understands the issues.

After reading the comments on this board I am amazed.

This presidential race is not about who is "popular". This is a race of a pure difference in values and opinions by the candidates. Each have something to give, have different experience, personalities and vision.

Why do Americans vote based on someone's glasses?

You should vote based on the issues. If you favor Supply Side Economic Theory and Religion in Politics, vote McCain. If you favor Demand Side, Pluralistic Societal Values, vote Barack.

It is pretty simple. Stop looking at who you like if the are pretty

Government is complex. Working with nations around the globe is complex. This is not about who can wink. Its about who can understand the issues and represent the United States so that it has respect.

Moreover, what is an Elitist? Why is it in the United States that if you have a college degree and perhaps an advaced degree, have earned a good living and think about the world around you; you are an Elitist?

Where is the respect for people who have become educated and who dedicated their lives to public service? The only questions as Americans should be

"Can this candidate work well with others?"
"Do they understand the issues?"
"Do they command respect among the rest of the world?"
"Do they have the determination to work hard for Americans?"
"Do they have an understanding of economic issues?"
"What is their motive for running for president?"
