Lee, Metro did the exact opposite. They "enforced" a law that does not exist, and willfully thumbed their noses at a law that is legitimately on the books. I absolutely blame them and our useless DA for repeatedly wasting our time and money on this, and would like to commend Mr. Draskovich for a job well done. Judge Smith declared in open court that Metro does not have to follow the rules. I can't wait for the Supreme Court to throw out his decision and uphold the state law, since our DA, local police department and judge Smith refuse to.
How on earth can these people employ "diplomacy?" Our elected leaders continue to murder innocent people with cowardly drone attacks while a majority of Americans are opposed to them, but the judge thinks these people have some sort of "diplomatic" avenue available to them. Amazing. Here's to non-violent resistance and to these brave protesters.
Way to go, Paradise Town Council! Now, which town council has the say on closing down the pathetic excuse for a "zoo" on Rancho Drive? Las Vegas is no place for a zoo, period. Diversification at the cost of many animals' lives would make us look even dumber than we are.
The Heartland Institute serves as a shill for big oil companies and is a de facto arm of the party of "No." Second hand smoke causes between 150,000 and 300,000 new cases of severe breathing disorders every year, and this has been conclusively proven. I hope the Cancer Society wins its lawsuit because what LVCVA is doing is illegal, and then we can go about correcting Judge Herndon's ridiculous ruling that thwarted the will of the voters in order to do a favor for his contributors.

First of all, good riddance. He was a small man who constantly grandstanded unimportant events to make himself look bigger. As our one reliable news source, I hope you'll keep an eye on what he does in the future. His poor judgement and petty vindictiveness in many cases speaks volumes.
On the other hand, who will now protect us from those armies of vicious non-lethal marijuana plants by spending obscene tax dollars and countless police man-hours during a de-facto depression, while street crime increases? Yeah, we'll sure "miss" David.
