A couple of sentences stand out: "Paul supporters were able to gain a strong foothold at the convention because McCain’s lean campaign team had racked up victories by relying on free media." Say again---McCain relied on a free media---where was the Ron Paul coverage in the free media? Ron Paul relied on grass roots support, a real message backed with a voting record of his positions, and the voices of the people. Where is the voter in this process, or is it only about the GOP and winning? "The convention was filled with first-timers": True. All over America, the people are waking up from apathy. The "first timers" and senior voters are seeing the primaries, caucuses, the conventions process exists to diminish the individual vote. There is Hope for America. Be part of it.
