How did we get to a point in our nation's history that we would elevate a man with NO public record of accomplishment at the executive or national level to the highest office of the Presidency?

A man who ridicules its own citizens? A man who is uncomfortable with its symbols and creates his own? A man who has an anti-American terrorist as a political mentor, an anti-American preacher as his spiritual mentor, and a convicted felon as his chief financial backer?

This is exhibit 1A in what textbooks call "the cult of personality". And its happening in the U.S.

Step right up and drink the Kool-aid as Uncle Barack asks you.

How does a man who has no record of public accomplishment at the executive or national level even be considered as President?

If Obama's resume was in a stack, he wouldn't even make it to the second interview.

The answer: Because he is African-American, and there is a clamor to elect the first black president.

But he hates America, sees Western values as the cause of conflict, and wants to socialize our economy.

But we cannot question the One. The cult of Obama, has overtaken the media and the Left.

It is madness and will lead to a weaker U.S.

But that is what his supporters want: their own suicide.

Obama's ad in the primaries stated, with him looking directly into the camera:

"First, I'll stop spending $9 billion a month in Iraq. I'm the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning. And as president I will end it. (gives up on Iraq despite the surge's obvious success, and the defeat of Al Qaeda in Iraq)...

I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. (hear that Iran, North Korea, and Russia?)...

I will not weaponize space. (ceding the future to the Chinese..)

I will slow our development of future combat systems. (Good God.)"

THAT is your Messiah. We will all be vulnerable. Your kids. My kids.

We must stop this man. This is madness.

Are we willing to elect to the Presidency a man who himself could not get a Federal security clearance because of his past associations with anti-Americans?

A man who has vowed to gut missile defense, cut back dramatically on defense spending, and meet unconditionally with our enemies?

A man who sees Israel as the root of all turmoil in the Middle East, and colonial and racist America as the source of the world's ills.

But he's the One. The One who may weaken this great nation irreparably, and plunge the world into darkness.

Obama's qualifications for the Presidency?

Two memoirs about his own life.

Palin's qualifications for the Vice Presidency?

The most popular governor in America, who took on corruption in her own party, took on Big Oil to negotiate the best deal for the people of Alaska, and served as Mayor and Councilwoman of her city.

She also RESIGNED in protest as commissioner when she saw the corruption in the oil and gas deals over which she was supposed to administer.

Obama's displays of courage? He complimented Bill Ayers' book, and voted to deny medical coverage to babies born alive after a botched abortion.

God Damn America! says his spiritual mentor. What does Obama think?

"Why did the greatest furor against Palin originate with women, both liberals like a Gail Collins, Maureen Dowd, or Sally Quinn, or conservatives such as a Peggy Noonan or Kathleen Parker?

So far, none of them has adduced the necessary arguments that would justify their venom against Palin: they have not demonstrated that Vice Presidential nominee Palin has less government or executive experience than does Presidential nominee Obama; they have not shown that she has said anything in two months as disturbing as what Joe Biden says almost any day, and, in that vein, they have written few columns about Biden's lunatic assertions, such as FDR addressing the nation on television as President in 1929, or that our nation's enemies will test Barack Obama, and his reaction will so disappoint the American people that his polls will immediately sink; they have not shown that Palin's ideas about shrinking government and keeping taxes low are less sound than Obama's in time of economic downturn to raise aggregate taxes and expand government. So whence the vitriol, especially the frequent invective about Palin's family, education, accent, or mannerisms, or the rather sexist suggestions that her looks bewitched either McCain or others?" - Victor Davis Hanson

Two reasons:

1) Her career has shown Obama for the unaccomplished poseur that he is, even in the VP slot vs his Presidential slot on the ticket, and that is forbidden by the media.

2) She didn't have an abortion.

...but in Obama's socialist Utopia, accomplishment, initiative, and results are frowned upon.

As long as you have the right victim mentality, sing the right "Ode to Obama", and demonize those who actually produce, you'll be alloted your ever-diminishing spoils.

The venom directed at Palin is part of the same envy and fear that Obama displayed in front of Joe the Plumber: Obama shook the hands of a man who actually USED his hands, did REAL things, and took no B.S. from Columbia-educated grievance merchant.

What you saw in Obama's eyes is fear of confronting REAL people who know what B.S. he's selling. And the Obamamaniacs swoon, but will, over time, realize that maybe a little due diligence was in order.

...lots of smoke, but still all we hear is criticism of Palin's accomplishments, when Obama has none.

Let me repeat: Obama has none.

Obama has none. Obama has none. People like Sarah Palin make our democracy work; people like Obama sit on the sidelines and claim credit.

Obama is a poseur. Never put his country first. Never took on his own party. Never accomplished anything of note for his country. But let's rush to make him president!

In the business world, we call people like Obama "pretenders", and promote the real doers = people like Palin.

And think about this for a moment: Why has Obama not been given a fraction of the scrutiny that Sarah Palin, the VP candidate, has?

Democrat or Republican, ALL should be gravely concerned at the willingness of an "independent" press to do the Messiah's bidding, and brazenly propagandize to get him elected.

We've never seen this before in our democracy. It is a frightening thing for those who have any understanding of history.

Obama is a radical, leftist idealogue who, through his temperment, has deflected ANY criticism. He openly longs for the "traditional" structures of 3rd world communities in Africa and Indonesia. Do his supporters have any idea what types of freedom they will be giving up by raising him to power?

This is beyond the Democrat/Republican split...we're talking about European Socialism, redistribution of wealth, and the abridgement of individual freedom. Sing your Obama songs, faint at your Obama rallies, display your Obama logos and presidential seals (Does this not ring any alarm bells??), and watch the power of the State take over your lives.

Sarah Palin's public accomplishments are so much greater, by any criteria, than Obama's.

And the incessant attempts by the media to smear her just magnify their own, pathetic, bitter lives.

Sarah Palin is a treasure - a woman who has given herself to public service and shown her ability to rise to the top through accomplishment and working FOR the people, not FOR her career.

Obama is a me-first, narcissistic, empty suit with no accomplishments. Always the easy way. Spent his adulthood wallowing in the victimhood of radical left Chicago politics, NEVER to challenge the narrative that the U.S. is a land of aggrieved souls.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin actually accomplishes things: City council, City mayor, energy regulatory commissioner, and Governor. Balancing budgets, meeting constituents' needs, cleaning up corruption, and securing a pipeline deal.

All as Obama writes another book about.....himself. This generation deserves an Obama Presidency, sure to be one of self-obsessive, yet passive, I-am-the-One speeches, with no concept of U.S. history, or promise. Add to that a hefty dose of European Socialism and overseas apologies to European elites.

Real American woman, vs. faux-American narcissist. I know who I choose.
