I disagree Rusty. For those of you who do not know, Las Vegas has many great things to offer, other than gaming. It is not the casino's fault that those who have no willpower cannot resist the tables and/or slots.
If you are looking for a vacation to one of the top five culinary destinations in the world, or a city with A-list and top-of-the-line entertainment, or even a city with great outdoor activities including Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, Springs Preserve and more than sixty golf courses, then go to Vegas.
And the people who live here do so because we enjoy a city with great entertainment and something to do. We enjoy and/or don't mind the 24 hour lifestyle. The people who live here are making a living, having a life, raising a family, working, thinking, etc.
Do not insult us because you have nothing better to do. If you don't like Vegas, don't come here. No one is begging you to come spend thousands of dollars in a weekend. It's up to you. Don't blame us for your lack of willpower.
And one more thing...any vacation destination is out to make money. Tourism is a business! A business needs to make money to survive! If you don't like the way we make our money, STAY OUT!
