"If you want to stop all the dying, vote republican."
Boy. talk about the dumbest thing I've read all day.
Iraq...
Afghanistan...
I agree with Caroll -- stay away from Steve Friess. He's such self-serving loser. I don't understand why Ralson and Nevada Week in Review have this nobody on their show.
I used to live down there and loved it. But guess what -- it wasn't a "safe" neighborhood.
Our house was broken into multiple times. So was one of our cars. A drunk tried to rob me at the gas station right next to Luv It's in broad daylight. Stolen cars were dumped on my street. A cop shot a guy just around the corner from me.
But it's also the only place I've lived in Vegas where I know all my neighbors and talked to them nearly every day. The sense of community is not found in the suburbs and something I miss. There's a great group of people living down there.
But that said, it's a high-crime area and the people "offended" by that fact are just being silly.
Tire Works donated $25,000 to Nina's Night Out in 2008. I guess we know what it costs to get special treatment from a Ch. 13 reporter.
Hmmmmm... I wonder why Nina would throw a bone to Tire Works and tip them off... Could it be the $25,000 donation they made to Nina's Night Out 2008?
I cannot believe she was back on the news tonight. The arrogance of this station...
"STOP! Read this NOW"
I would try, but your writing put me in a coma...
SP,
Do you ever wonder why the media doesn't listen to you? If your ability to give an editor a story resembles anything like your comments on this website, I wouldn't go near it either.
Being touched with the crazy doesn't make you a reliable source...
You surprised me, Mike.
Here's one for you in return -- I guess I'm now going to have to vote for Dr. Joe Heck.

Ban it indoors. There's no sense in letting a tiny minority of people affect the health of everyone around them.
I don't smoke and I don't want to be around smokers. And when I used to smoke (10 years) I was courteous about it. I didn't smoke in crowds and I rarely smoked indoors.
Ban it.
