Nope, the 12 sucks also!

Dodge in general sucks, except maybe the 12. It's never a good idea to go there! But I don't think Kurt could get his old job back, even if he wanted it. The revenge of Roush rules!!

Well made point Mike, I totally agree with you.

Though I am not much of a fan of the Waltrip brothers, I do think Darrell adds to the show (at least when he can talk, not croak) with his knowledge and opinions.

Mickey, I just plain do NOT trust him, and if he needs a spokesperson/lawyer, it should not be his older brother. And 'older brother' should know better, and keep his mouth shut (a tall order!) when it involves family business.

You're right califtovegas, we'd wouldn't be driving the C.O.T., we'd be driving Hudson Hornet convertibles. What's with this 'we' thing anyway??

Oh yes it is whining. Drivers, God bless 'em, are always whining, it's their job. Let's get real here. The driver wants a car that is as fast as lightning and is as easy to drive as a street car. Ain't gonna happen. Changes seem to freak us out in general -- a couple of years from now, and after a whole lot of tweaking, this car will just be the 'car', and everything will be peaceful and 'normal'.

That is one excellent idea! Cars forced to go round and round through who knows how many laps of track cleanup should not be penalized for running out of fuel, it's only NASCAR rules that keep them out there, hoping and praying. The only other solution may be to red flag the race when a green-white-checker situation is apparent.

Since I saw my first NASCAR race (on TV in 1979, as many of us older non south-east codgers did), I was a Richard Petty fan. But ... Richard's last win was in 1984, 28 years ago! Kyle's last win was in 1995, during the few years in his career when he driving for Felix Sabates, and when he was reasonably successful. It is now 13 years since any Petty won a race! I think Adam would have been better than his father, but that we will never know.

Richard is an icon and always will be, but will that bring in the many millions needed to survive today? Petty, Wood Brothers, Yates, and other old-timers may have paved the way, but I am not so sure that they are not becoming expendable, it's ugly, but, it's business in the 21st century.

We'll let MWR handle all the cheating, they are getting very good at it, other than the minor fact that they keep getting caught!!

But then, there are 30 people (at the time of this writing) trying to win something, yet none of them have the guts to make a comment on the other blog postings! Oh no, I wouldn't want others to know how I feel and think about things NASCAR, I would be so vulnerable, and I'm such a chicken! Why are you like that, do you even know? It's no big deal, try it!!!

I've said it over and over, I don't trust Michael Waltrip, he just talks way too much. Neither of the Waltrip's have any idea how to shut up for a while, it's very tiresome. 'Offense is the best defense', and they both know it!!
