Rogers loves Gibbons' money, or Nevadans' money to pay for the NSHE's top heavy administrators, including the 4 indicted official's paid leave. We know the NSHE could easily save millions if all the waste can be eliminated such as Bob Gilbert's and Sherri Payne's duplication of job description, or Richard Carpenter's being still on the CSN payroll.

Gibbons will not be fooled by Rogers with Rogers' mismanagement of the NSHE and the resulted rapidly lost resources. Rogers must acknowledge the indictment of the 4 CSN officials, and sincerely come up with ideas to cut wastes within NSHE, instead of harassing the Governor daily on the money that Rogers shouldn't have wasted to begin with.

Farah, well said! Thanks to Christina Littlefield and the Las Vegas Sun. Thank you Nevada Attorney General. Thank you Clark County Grand Jury. The entire CSN faculty, staff, students and parents, and all Nevadans, thank you, for stopping the ongoing theft at CSN, and for stopping future possible theft of any State entity. The punishments have to be swift and heavy, to set an example for future thieves. We look forward to the excellent reports from the Las Vegas Sun to continue keep us abreast of all development.

Thank you Nevada Attorney General for your great job! Love and admiration from all Nevadans!

The following is an article entitled "Carpenter Gilbert Alliance" from the CSN faculty and staff's most loved but the CSN administration's most hated blog, "CSN Richard Carpenter Watch":

Dear Chancellor,

Obviously you have no idea Bob Gilbert and Sherry Payne's sharing the job but enjoy full separate, 6-digit paychecks. Neither do you understand that a pair of CSN faculty couple (neptism of hiring unqualified spouse) who are known being lousy teachers, take sabbatical the same time, and cost this state well over $100k with no teaching duty for 1 year. And how are you going to ever have heard the missing giant telescope from the CSN loading dock, and later appeared in a professor's Utah vacation home?

Not to mention there is no way you have heard of the Attorney General's office's raid of Patty Charlton and Bob Gilbert's offices, and Bob Gilbert's home for the severe financial wrongdoing, including theft from the state.

So it is always the Governor's fault that you can not budget this right. NSHE is an endless pit. There is no amount of money, that will feed the NSHE's needs resulting from your incompetency of managing the mess.

How about calling Bob Gilbert and Patty Charlton on the carpet, and holding them accountable? You didn't do that with Richard Carpenter and he became the biggest diaster of the NSHE history. To name two major events, CSN experienced the first massive computer hack in its 35 years history, and CSN experienced the first AG raid in the Nevada Higher Education history.

Chancellor Rogers, are you going to do something about CSN, or are you going to distract people's attention by continuing blaming the Governor for your own mismanagement?

Thanks Farah for your wonderful postings.

Why does the CSN administration think that they have the right to ask the autority to restrain an individual's freedom of speech? Have they read the NFA's "The Alliance" Newspaper in Nov. 2007 about NFA would have prevailed if the blocking of the blog was challenged in court? The excerpt is also in the blog. Why is that the CSN administration has problem understanding some simple concepts?

So let's see. Jim Rogers paid NFA $250,000, but doesn't care about NFA's mission, doesn't read their newspapers, and the administration thinks the freedom of speech is a crime... I guess if the blog is nonsense, like the CSN faculty sentate chair accused, then the CSN administration shouldn't worry about the blog.

It appears to me, the CSN administration is deathly afraid of this blog. Could it be too many people know too many things, and the blog allows them to speak their minds, while the CSN's everyone@csn.edu is shut down?

CSN administration, why accuse Taz of doing things with her own PERSONAL blog? Taz is not in the administration. The CSN administration has a job to do: Open the everyone@csn.edu, to show that the CSN administration supports the First Amendment Rights that they accuse others of not supporting.

toushold, you said those pro-Rosenthal comments are self incriminating because "the commenters obviously don't have even a basic understanding of how the search warrant process works". Please explain self-incriminating. When the laws are broken, the AG raided the campus, based on the incriminating evidence they had gathered BEFORE the raid. So how did the commenter supposed ignorance incriminate them? Help educate us, I read what he wrote before it was deleted, which part was he incorrect? Why don't you educate us?

Mike Richards wrote it because there many nuances that coincide with things he does. It's doubtful anyone else could have done exactly what he always does. Dream on that people don't know what you are doing. Dream on AG will let this big raid of CSN campus go by your threateninig the public.
