I did not know Las Vegas had a liberal "progressive" newspaper... I visit there twice a year from the Midwest and was surprised to see this article.

Your Sen. Harry Reid is closely aligned with Obama, and Nancy Pelosi, and George Soros. Seems to me that if you vote for Reid, you're supporting Obama and Pelosi. Isn't Obama the one that said "don't come to Las Vegas"? I did not believe him on that one either, but it sure seems like you folks Las Vegas would not support Obama.

Couldn't obama just mail out checks to all of us?

That would be far more efficient use of the borrowed funds... And we would actually get something for it.

So Harry Reid "supports" not allowing the mosque to be built... First time he has departed from the obama line.

The writer needs to remember how many people have 'migrated' to Las Vegas.. and have solid contacts 'back home'.

And 'Back Home', Harry Reid is hated for being a liar, socialist, cheating politician with 'progressive' stick-it-to the people attitudes; Reid's obamacare and now 'financial reform' will leave this country impoverished.

I think come November people will look at reid's record... and vote Angle.

I would agree with Sen Clinton's discussion on MLK, LBJ, and the perspective on both. I think the issue will go away.

But, the writer's last comment on bush, "failed Presidency" is just another thoughtless shot at this president. I know it is easy 'run with the pack', but to perform real journalistic analysis and to be objective is a valued trait; This writer took a shortcut way out. When Bush is reviewed by History I think we will find that he did a pretty good job.
