Palin can wink and nod and use all corny references a pageant contestant can muster but many of us can see past it for what it is. She doesn't even understand the basis for the reference she used during the debate saying "Say it isn't so Joe". She's a hot mess and many American morons are dim witted enough to fall for her cornball act. However, the election is already over for McCain and Palin. Just wait for the new ads that will be out from now until election day-they will reek of desperation.
As I was walking past one of the chemistry lab classrooms at UNLV the other day I noticed a hand written sign taped to the door that read "Lab Personal Only". I can only hope the TA or student who wrote and posted this sign is not headed toward a career in medicine here in Nevada.
Jon Ralston nailed it once again. Thanks Jon!
jfnance32 brings up a good point. Women today still carry the disproportionate burden of taking care of children, grandchildren or elderly parents. Since we are still considered primary care givers, females are continually maligned and blamed when something goes wrong while Dads are praised for just showing up-and this is a true disservice to men who are actively engaged in all aspects of parenting, caregiving etc. However, if Palin believes she has it all under control then great. I do believe however,if she wants to play with the boys she needs to be prepared for the scrutiny and deal with it. The GOP mock shock and indignation regarding any inquiry is just an act of avoidance and a transparent one at that.
Rogers gives Gibbons another wedgie. Sweet!
Dogmann,it's OK-feel free to call people communist whenever you can.
So now it's all one big free market conspiracy and we all have rings in our noses...and can't think for ourselves and..and.....
Anyone else ever notice how "Nevaduh" is full of whiners...especially when they're guilty of not following known industry standards, best practices or are incompetent and slooooow to respond when a crisis errupts? Perception IS reality at this point.
So to sum it up, how could the board possibly know anything unless the media alerts them-damn that's scary but thank God. And... Clark tried to act but couldn't because gosh darn it,those records were confiscated by the mean ol'police and well that just screwed up the Board's whole timely investigation, and...and...and those meanies in the media got it all wrong and...and...and...those pesky politicians who represent the poopy-headed public....they don't get it either and gosh darn it I'm a lawyer and I know the law and...and...
Please, someone get that man some cheese-preferably Limburger-to go with his whine. Clark needs to leave already.
"Who will be anointed next? Predictions?"
Yeah....Goodman. Charisma factor and the leadership on the Hep C issue.
Regarding that misogynistic posit that male pundits keep tossing out re: ..."a woman scorned".....
If I helped you get where you are today, raised our child for you, cleaned up around the toilet you couldn't hit if Cherrios were floating in it and propped your lame ass up when you royally screwed up,you're damn skippy...Gas,Grass or Ass, someone is gonna pay and tag...Jimmy is it.
I can see how men would fall back on the theory of the whole "woman scorned" thing because it's easier to toss that out than to examine the power issues here. Men are the ruling gender in this state-and society for that matter-and it's seems there are 2 things men with power understand:money and humiliation. She's treating him just like the success object he is. It not about revenge or fury, it's about paying now or later. I guess Jimmy decided on the "pay later" plan.
Dawn has apparently been invaluable to him in getting him elected as he obviously has the personality of petrified wood. I hope she can collect her due compensation in whatever form that takes.
Rogers is right. This slash and burn policy of Gibbons is short sighted. Again, Gibbons appears unconcerned with matters of this state or it's future.
