Now they will have more time for donuts and discussing PERS and retirement.
He already started out with a GOP filibuster. He has ties to right-wing talk radio and pot farmer Eddie Floyd. He supports GOP regulating a woman's ovaries. Yet, he has done nothing to help out for jobs in the State of Nevada.
This CHS graduate always has had the silver-spoon mentality. Why would anybody elect him again? This life-long GOP member supports the banks and mining industry w/o regards to the citizens who have elected him.
His time is short. His LV office staff are the rudest ever dealt with on any issues in Southern Nevada and has never been made available.
We need concerned and dedicated leaders, not the same old party line, that benefits the rich while most white and blue collar workers are unemployed or under-employed.
Not 1 jobs bill from this guy. This GOP member is voting for someone leading and not following the destruction of the country sponsored by current GOP leadership.
Maybe Marnell would like to disclose how much his campaign contribution were to Mayor Gibson to secure this last 5 acres needed to complete the project. The one that was pulled out of the public auction and given to Marnell for Project M discussed in the newspaper. Ah yes, COH government has always been available to highest campaign contributor.
Maybe Mayor Gibson would like to explain that to the COH taxpayers after Lake Las Vegas declared bankruptcy has been getting away with substandard infrastructure improvements to the property that do not meet current standards. The Mayor and current COH politicians have directed the Public Works department to give away the farm and allow sub-standard improvements. WTG COH Public Works Director you have let down the City of Henderson taxpayers, the Public Works Department and your professional reputation.

What really needs to investigated is all of the former City council members who were on the board and the 6 figure salaries they received. All one has to do is look at the progress of the Cornerstone Park at Stephanie and Wigwam.
For years this project never developed into the "park" the COH RDA was working on, but each and everyone who served on the board was paid handsomely for the service. The project may come to life due to SNPLA funding, but it was never because of the COH good ole boys network. You know the former mayor and previous city council members.
As for this featured project, one only needs to see who got paid for the development of it, former COH construction manager and perennial landlord of the commercial property at the SEC of Basic and Water.
Who say graft and crime doesn't pay has never had the opportunity to elected or upper management in the COH.
Some things never change.
